So the guy leading the hard-line owners is His Royal Airness

Funny Jordan became the same type of owner he spoke against in the 90's.

Giving horrible contracts, horrible drafting and poor choices.

Dude gives Oakfor a contract he didn't deserve.

He drafts Adam Morrison after giving Gerald Wallace a contract extension.

He drafts Sean Mays. He passes on Brook Lopez against Larry Brown warnings.

Kwame Brown???

Trading Rip for Stack??

Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Jordan was a great player but as a GM he is horrible.

I want you guys that have jobs to go in on Monday and tell the owners what the fuck YOU want to keep working there. See if they give a fuck.

We get that MJ is an owner that is not what is strange.

In the 90's Jordan called out all the small market owners telling them stop giving out contracts to the Rick Smiths of the NBA and start making smart moves.

Now the ironic thing is Jordan has become the same type of owner he was speaking against when he was a player.

Now remember Jordan called out Barkley and the others who wanted to take the owners deal in 95.

Plus Jordan argument is bullshit.

His team is where it's at because of poor drafting.

Sean Mays--over seas right now
Adam Morrison--over seas right now.

Horrible contracts

Oakfor-he gave a contract to an injury prone player

I could go on but we all know how the bobcats have been run.

Seriously I can't blame Deron for not being sold on the Nets these guys won a total of 36 games in two years. If they don't do nothing when the lockout is over he is gone.

with that being said Jordan should blame how he has run the team why he can't compete with the big market teams.

Anyone who's worked for a union has seen this shit before. Somebody you worked with for years gets promoted to management. Then proceeds to fuck over everyone he worked with and called friends for years. :hmm:

GOT DAMMIT

Players should be able to own teams... at least partially... this solves the cash shortage problem INSTANTLY.... the teams should be on the stock market as public property... if the season is lost then we should be able to work a deal out to have the teams owned by the tax payer as a source of revenue... since the owners are crying they can't afford it... Holla at me players

preach :smh:

fans and tax payers cover most if not all the expenses
the owners get their insurance money back when they file their taxes
liabilities:lol:
only thing them owners ( atleast the smart ones ) put on the line is there rep
at most some throw away money. how many owners go broke cause their team sucks
if there was no basketball all the athletes would go to other sports and the non athletes would get other jobs whats ur point:confused:
the players make the teams famous not the other way around
it not like the fans will pay to see any fucker in a jersey dunk a ball

these dudes didn't make it to be the top .0001% at their sport cause of luck... some do get a little lucky but they all work hard... this ain't like music or movies where the corporate machine can just hype someone who ain't got talent up and make them successful... this league the NBA is player driven...

These cats are delusional... not 'just anybody' in a jersey is gonna get people to pay $10k for court-side seats... cats need to get real

:smh:If players owned teams that would create conflict of interest cases throughout the league when players are traded.

The league is definitely superstar driven, but not even the Miami Heat have 3 superstars (2 1/2), so, no matter what team you mention, the majority of the players on any team are just "anybody in a jersey".

The cash shortage problem would be solved by the NFL model, revenue-sharing, but the big market teams would never agree to it.

They will get their pound of flesh from the players.

All of ya'll do understand that if this entire season is canceled the players are automatically in a lose/lose situation, right?

The percentage that they are fighting for cannot be made up w/o this season.
