In the 90's Jordan called out all the small market owners telling them stop giving out contracts to the Rick Smiths of the NBA and start making smart moves.

Players should be able to own teams... at least partially... this solves the cash shortage problem INSTANTLY.... the teams should be on the stock market as public property... if the season is lost then we should be able to work a deal out to have the teams owned by the tax payer as a source of revenue... since the owners are crying they can't afford it... If players owned teams that would create conflict of interest cases throughout the league when players are traded.

The league is definitely superstar driven, but not even the Miami Heat have 3 superstars (2 1/2), so, no matter what team you mention, the majority of the players on any team are just "anybody in a jersey".

The cash shortage problem would be solved by the NFL model, revenue-sharing, but the big market teams would never agree to it.

They will get their pound of flesh from the players.

All of ya'll do understand that if this entire season is canceled the players are automatically in a lose/lose situation, right?

The percentage that they are fighting for cannot be made up w/o this season.
