So I hire this white girl (I have quite a few working for me, Halo would be proud) and one day I'm in my shop working on some stuff and mentioned white girl walks in. She notices that I'm listening to CNN and something about President Obama is on.
She says, "Oh God another story on the Marxist/socialist again"
I'm like "What? You actually believe that He's a Marxist/socialist?"...she's like, "Fuck yea"....Now I usually don't talk politics with the people I hire and usually don't really care, as long as you can draw and make me my money I can really give a fuck if you breath or not but this time I had to dig a little deeper. So she starts talking about how "Glenn Beck is the smartest man on TV" (That's where I should have ended it right there, anyone who thinks Glenn Beck is smart is obviously crazy).
She starts up about "Obama is taking our country down a path of Socialism that will bankrupt our country and he will raise our taxes to the highest levels" (All the usual conservative talking points are hit).
Her: "Hard working Americans will lose everything, you'll see!"
Now here's how brainwashed this conservative fat bad toothed hillbilly thinks:
Me: "America already has many forms of socialism already built in."
Her: "No it doesn't, where? Free Health care is socialism for people that don't want to work!"
Me: "Student Aid (she takes Student Aid in school by the way), Medicaid, Social Security, the VA benefits are all socialist programs right?"
Her: "No they aren't because they were always there, you can't count the veterans benefits because they fight for the country to be free so they deserve the money help they get."

So I dig a little further, Like I said I don't really get involved with people that work for me. Come to find out, she's 22 years old, engaged to a white man that's 45 years old. The white guy DOESN'T WORK and hasn't worked for 2 years. He's been married 2 other times and has kids he doesn't see and doesn't support financially or emotionally. Supposedly he's a die hard conservative that looks down on all those welfare recipients out there.
They live in an efficiency apartment and don't have a television but they do have the internet (where they watch Glenn Beck every night). Neither of them have any health insurance. He's sick with some shit (she can't identify) that keeps him out of work and supposedly made him gain 200 pounds (He's over 350 pounds right now).
She saved up enough money to buy her wedding dress from Wal-mart (true story) and can't wait until they get married (date unknown).
By they way, one of my other people let it slip that she is taking food stamps in order for them to eat.
I can go into some more, but I thought this story was funny as hell and illustrates how fucking brainwashed these crackers are. Even when they are at their worst they think they are at their best. The only unifying thing these fuckers have is race. Yea right, Glenn Beck (a millionaire con-man) want's to sit down and eat dinner with two hillbilly's.
