Would you blow a dude off if he's not GQ'ed up? Allow me to explain, like if he's in a mechanics outfit he's got oil all over from working on cars all day, but he approached correctly, but he wasn't dressed his best? Would you overlook him?

I mean like if you don't dress tastefully when you are out. . . Like say out to dinner or to a club. . .
What you would wear while you are out socially would be different than what you wear on a regular basis IMO. . .. unless you are always dressed up. . . which is weird too.

I've gotten crazy treatment by women. I'll tell you one instant...
I was out at a club lookin' GQ and was wearin' my glasses and I noticed I didn't get really any eye contact or attention from the women I was peeping. Left the club with my boy to go pick another one of our friends up from the airport that night. I said fuck it, and threw on a nice t-shirt and just put in my contacts to see if it would make a difference. We went back to the same club, and I'll be damned if the same women didn't approach my ass on some different shit like, "Hi there sexy, where you been all night?" I told one of 'em,"I was standing right in front of your ass when you blew me off. I gotta go..."
I said all that to say appearances mean different things to people. I have yet for a woman to really check me out when I'm wearin' my glasses and being studious. When it's the opposite, I'll be damned if I'm not jocked the whole time. A damn shame I tell ya...

That can be the same for women, because I don't get as much play in my glasses either, but soon as I pop in the contacts.. maybe throw on a lil eyeliner, it's a whole new ball game.. and personally I love how I look in my glasses...
I'm shocked that glasses would make that much of a difference. Unless your wearing some ornate cat style eyeglasses (Myrtle Urkel) from the 60s it shouldn't matter.

I was devastaed.

My confidence level was at 0%
All I could do was wave and smile.

I kinda make it a habit now to not stop anywhere after work when I know I'm looking a mess. I know it's so superficial but it's like I can't go anywhere without running into someone I know.

. I don't wear glasses/contacts, but that other stuff used to kill me in high school. Now I wouldn't even think about trying to holla at a woman in the club; usually you meet the wrong kind there anyway. A lounge is the way to go unless you just want to dance all night.

I go through that glasses/contacts thing too. I notice I get way more rhythm when I'm wearing my contacts. I thought women liked an intelligent looking man.

C/S. I had a guy approach me a few weeks ago w/his construction hat and the whole nine. I gave him convo just off the strength that he came at me presentably. Sometimes you have to look beyond the exterior.

I don't like that attitude (or the use of the words "know what i mean every third word..."), or trying to prove something crap...A simple "hello how are you..." works. I's also play with you mind sexually to know if you can bring it, the way i want it.

I dont know about you bro, but if a sister want to go to the other side, it wont be because of my pants sagging. Like I said my jeans are roomy and my slacks and dress pants are fitted properly. I did 8 years in the airforce and when your're in dress blues, it had to be tapered and fitted properly. You prolly got steve urkle jean up to your chest
