Would you blow a dude off if he's not GQ'ed up? Allow me to explain, like if he's in a mechanics outfit he's got oil all over from working on cars all day, but he approached correctly, but he wasn't dressed his best? Would you overlook him?

Mmmmm, a lot of times guys in their workwear are extremely sexy.![]()

I guess it would depend on the time/place.
If you are the grocery store looking like you just made a stop from work something. . . I wouldn't mind. But if you are out at a social event looking a mess than that would be a no. . .

interesting point you brought up there. so what's the difference? there are both in a public place pretty much, so what's the difference?
I mean like if you don't dress tastefully when you are out. . . Like say out to dinner or to a club. . .
What you would wear while you are out socially would be different than what you wear on a regular basis IMO. . .. unless you are always dressed up. . . which is weird too.

LOL, why wouldn't I want a man with an obvious skill?? I'd rather some approach me in his work clothes than with his pants hanging halfway down his ass....![]()

I never liked talking to guys off the street period.

I have yet for a woman to really check me out when I'm wearin' my glasses and being studious.

any grown man that still sigs while trying to approach "women" needs to have his head examined!![]()
I've gotten crazy treatment by women. I'll tell you one instant...
I was out at a club lookin' GQ and was wearin' my glasses and I noticed I didn't get really any eye contact or attention from the women I was peeping. Left the club with my boy to go pick another one of our friends up from the airport that night. I said fuck it, and threw on a nice t-shirt and just put in my contacts to see if it would make a difference. We went back to the same club, and I'll be damned if the same women didn't approach my ass on some different shit like, "Hi there sexy, where you been all night?" I told one of 'em,"I was standing right in front of your ass when you blew me off. I gotta go..."
I said all that to say appearances mean different things to people. I have yet for a woman to really check me out when I'm wearin' my glasses and being studious. When it's the opposite, I'll be damned if I'm not jocked the whole time. A damn shame I tell ya...![]()
Exactly!!!
That can be the same for women, because I don't get as much play in my glasses either, but soon as I pop in the contacts.. maybe throw on a lil eyeliner, it's a whole new ball game.. and personally I love how I look in my glasses...

I work in a rough and dusty enviroment so I don't wear any good clothes.

That's funny. I get more stares when I wear my glasses.
I don't dress "GQ".
I'am a jeans and t-shirt type of guy. Not really into fashion.
As for work clothes. I look like I'am homeless after i get off.I work in a rough and dusty enviroment so I don't wear any good clothes.
I get off when most people are on there way to work. So I don't ever really run into any overly attractive women on my way home.
One time I stopped in the super market to get some breakfast food and saw an old class mate who used to have a crush on me.
I was devastaed.
I tried to quickly spruce myself up.
My confidence level was at 0%
All I could do was wave and smile.![]()
she could be the one missing out, but yeah i hate the feeling to. i hate feeling like i have to measure up, just because i'm not stuck behind a desk all day.

. I don't wear glasses/contacts, but that other stuff used to kill me in high school. Now I wouldn't even think about trying to holla at a woman in the club; usually you meet the wrong kind there anyway. A lounge is the way to go unless you just want to dance all night.LOL, why wouldn't I want a man with an obvious skill?? Aint nothing wrong with ya pants having a little sag, just not the sag all the way down to ya kneesany grown man that still sags while trying to approach "women" needs to have his head examined!
thanks cleo for point out my typo.![]()

That makes me wonder. . .
So what's your take on the situation regarding approaching a woman who may not be looking her best?
I definitely don't sit behind a desk all day either. I'm on my feet, running around like a crazy person for 8 hours and I know I don't look hot when I get off work.![]()

no so called adult man should be sagging his pants. Buy a quality belt and good fitting pants. And we still wonder why the black sisters go to the other side or the other race to seek love.Aint nothing wrong with ya pants having a little sag, just not the sag all the way down to ya knees. Confidence and is a major seller for me.Mmmmm, a lot of times guys in their workwear are extremely sexy.
Plus, at least you know he's got a job or some kind of marketable skill...

I dont know about you bro, but if a sister want to go to the other side, it wont be because of my pants sagging. Like I said my jeans are roomy and my slacks and dress pants are fitted properly. I did 8 years in the airforce and when your're in dress blues, it had to be tapered and fitted properly. You prolly got steve urkle jean up to your chestno so called adult man should be sagging his pants. Buy a quality belt and good fitting pants. And we still wonder why the black sisters go to the other side or the other race to seek love.
No i would not because you shouldn't judge a book by it cover. My first thought would be "he has a job". Now this is where you'd loose points...how you speak to me. I don't like that attitude (or the use of the words "know what i mean every third word..."), or trying to prove something crap...A simple "hello how are you..." works. I's also play with you mind sexually to know if you can bring it, the way i want it.Confidence and is a major seller for me.
