Man that was tha WORST experience of my fucking life.I still feel violated in some way as I type this.Man they was treating niggaz like tha Taliban in that bitch.I forgot that I was in Bmore for a sec and thought that I was up in GITMO.
Man they had us in a tiny ass cell that only holds 4 people max filled up with 10 motherfuckaz for like 12 hours at a time.Back was and still is hurting like shit from sleeping on that hard ass concrete.That shit was miserable.I thought that shit would never end.You just sitting there wondering what tha fuck was going on with your bail and these motherfucking junior Officer Rickys ain't trying to tell you shit or let you use tha phone so you just sitting there looking dumb.Then after 12 hours they move you to another cell and leave you there for another 12-15 hours.I stayed up that bitch from Tuesday 12 noon to Thursday 8pm.I didn't shit or shower that whole time cause taking a shit in a cell with 10 people is a no go and they ain't even let us take no showers.Plus I didn't get to eat anything till Thursday
morning cause they tried feeding us some rubber ass baloney sandwiches that was making niggaz sick and I wasn't having it.

Then you have dumb ass Baltimore police arresting niggaz for dumb shit so that in turn floods tha booking spot and they have so many motherfuckaz there they don't know what to do.Shit got so bad that they had to wait till niggaz was sleep in tha cell to sneak in more people without protest.Then it fucking takes 10 hours to get in tha system before a bail can be posted.And after your bail is posted it takes another 6-to 10 hours before its goes through.That shit was tha worst.And why they always gotta have young ass hood niggaz and rats working as C.Os???
There was no professionalism in tha whole joint.Straight HOOD.I swear 95% of them motherfuckaz were between18-21.Chicken heads in there trying to look cute for tha inmates.That shit was a mess.Then they had to have an emergency hearing to kick all them niggaz with them weak ass charges out so they can create room.
And if tha health inspector would have strolled up in that bitch that whole joint would have been shut down ASAP.Living conditions unsanitary, food was unsanitary, and some of them bitches were definitely unsanitary.I will never get another ticket in Baltimore.

Dog, I was in central booking last year on some dumb shit I had to serve. Took me 12 hours to get out that bitch. They make you take off your shoes and belts and cram you into a holding cell with 4-6 other mothafuckas.

Niggas got foot odors galore, and the C.O's were outside the cell playing fucking paper football.

That shit had me so erked, I rolled up my marching papers into a football and started a game wit some nigga from Boston who got shipped down on some drug charges.

You can't really sleep, you can't get no info, you just gotta pray the magistrate is there and can process you as fast as humanly possible.

Tip for those of you turning yourself in: DONT DO IT ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!!! YOU WILL BE THERE TILL MONDAY MORNING, CAUSE BELIEVE THAT AINT NO WHITE FOLKS HELPING YO ASS OUT WHEN THEY CAN BE GOLFIN IT UP ON THE WEEKEND!

Next time get a attorney upfront and you want have to go thru that. When I was younger I refused to pay traffic tickets. I made $200 a week and they wanted $150 for the ticket. After getting 2 or 3 tickets I would turn myself in on a Friday and be released on Sunday with all tickets being cleared. I soon got to old for that shit and stop getting tickets. It taught me I don't ever want to get my freedom taken away. Them 2 days would be hell and I can't imagine what 2 years must be like.

Stay in B-more. In Atlanta, Rice St., its over 30 niggas in a small cell that measures just about 12'x12'. I bullshit you not. The jail is old as fuck so when you get dressed out and go upstairs you see all kinda shit falling apart, the tiles in the ceiling missing, stained from water leaks, covers for light fixtures missing, broken, and hanging, exposed pipes with visible repairs and patches done to them because the insulation is missing and torn.
In Dekalb county, it's not as bad, kinda cleaner.... I said 'kinda'. Can't get no reception in intake cells so a nigga gotta stand up on the bench and use the most of what always seems to be 1 bar left of battery life .

Back was and still is hurting like shit from sleeping on that hard ass concrete.That shit was miserable.

I don't mind the concrete, I done had back problems for a while so I sleep on the floor most of the time when I'm at home

I got arrested last year on a 'Terroristic threats and acts charge', a fucking felony! All for telling ma dumb ass drunk stripper fuck bud to shut up b4 I killed her!! Of course I didn't mean it, and had no plans to carry out the threat, but that girl called the cops and I spent a fucking week in Fulton County jail in the ATL.
Went through the exact same set of circumstances, cramped cells, smelly old stank ass M/fers trying to out shine the bloke next to him with street stories! Cunts fighting over floor space, all the trime I didn't know what the fuck was going on. Then on Day 3 my lame-ass court appointed attorney annouces to me that 'Oh by the way..If u girl presses charges you're loking at 5yrs followed by deportation bac to UK!' Can u say 'FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!'
On top of that the screws did not give a flying fuck, when I'd ask to use the phone, they'd str8 ignore u..until u got loud then they'd help just to shut u up!
I'm an 'older' white guy so the old school cats who'd done time b4 were real cool, and we passed the time playing checkers and chess. But as the man said that food was str8 up nasty as fuck!! Breakfast was cool, after that it was trading time for fruit etc! Ha ha.
Luckily my girl dropped charges, danced and the raised the $$ for ma bail, I then got me a good lawyer, went to a pretrial course and got everything expunged. But that shit showed me something....and raised a question, for folks that keep going back there...why? Are they that hard headed, don't give a fuck, or is it better for them inside than on the street?

You're stupid as fuck (maybe?"), you don't turn yourself in TO THE JAIL over a Ticket UNLESS it is serious like a DUI or Hit-and-Run.

In most big Cities they are just happy to get the money for the Ticket, you should have called the City Solicitor or the Person that handles/Prosecutes Traffic Tickets/Cases (if that's what you had), many "Big Cities" have Amnesty Programs for "old Tickets" that have turned into Warrants for "Failure to show up for Court", and as long as you come up with the MONEY plus some reasonable "Court Costs" they won't make you sit in Jail and they'll erase that Warrant when you pay, all you have to do is call and ask.

Even if the city doesn't have a formal "amnesty program" for Old Tickets-turned into Warrants, many City Solicitors will pull the Warrant and have it in their Office when you show up to pay the Ticket and will have it deleted from the Police Computers when you pay, but Call First and "negotiate" from a Pay Phone or Public Phone so they won't have any way of Tracking you down.

I am assuming that the ticket is not a "serious Ticket" like the ones I mentioned above.

The only time I've ever been in jail, it wasn't nearly that bad. I was locked up on the 9th floor of 1300 Beaubien (Detroit niggas will know where that is.) I was in a single cell, and because there were no food service workers there, they got your food from a diner across the street. There were a few niggas up there who were doing hard time. They were down there because of prison overcrowding. They had the run of the place, and they'd get stuff from the vending machines if you let them keep the change. The worst thing about it was that it was incredibly boring. You could lie in your cell and watch the shadow from the sun move across the room ticking off the hours from sunup til sundown. That's the real horror of being in jail to me.
