About 8-9yrs ago, I was very optimistic that I'd be playing NFL 2XK within 5 years

As long as the fuck boys continue to religiously buy Madden you'll never see a NFL 2K or any other officially license game again.

I wish someone would take a serious risk and develop a 100% customizable football game that runs great and is very technical about the game itself. Something that you can create or download user-created OFFICIAL teams with edited real life players. Kind of a "make your own NFL" game. Pack it full of options and make it community-content orientated so as to avoid legal action from EA. That shit ever caught on it'd fuck with EA's Madden money hard.

But I know it'll never happen and most of you Madden slaves would never support it.

And I still say this ENGINE could be used to create a better football game (better than what was made here)...

Name recognition means a lot in videogames. Most people don't know who the developers are. The $20 2K5 was their way of getting people to notice them. With more years to compete they could have possibly hurt Madden a lot. For example, NBA 2K.

For those who have Madden 25 on Xbox one. This go to download rosters n type BR0WN 23. 0 is a Zero. He has updated the rookies on there.plus did some graphical changes to the game, plays %100 better than stock. No need to adjust sliders..just get his roster and play.

It still has franchise mode I'm the same as you rarely play online. I was told they didn't have then my boy told me it was set up different but it's there and he was correct.

As I said, the franchise mode is there in the form of CONNECTED CAREERS, but you can no longer import players from NCAA into Madden. I spent a little more than a month renaming players, fixing attributes of players based off of 2012, 2013 & 2014 NFL draft prospects and current NCAA abilities, like making Jameis Winston a big player and not a 5th string 75 OVR quarterback only to find out that you can't import.

Now, in Madden the "draft classes" in the Connected Careers is horrible as it always is. THe #1 overall draft pick is a receiver from Navy? Fucking NAVY?!!! The #2 Overall pick is a QB from Idaho?! Who outside of real players know the Vandals even exist? I fucking swear that Madden is created by people who don't even fucking FOLLOW football on ANY level.

So instead of being able to draft Clowney this year and Jameis Winston next year I have Javier Williams a Junior from Navy, which is IMPOSSIBLE because Navy players:

1. Cannot leave college early due to their commitment to being Naval Officers
2. Would have to complete a minimum of 2 years after their senior season in the US Navy before they could come to the NFL. It hasn't really been done since Roger Staubach 40 years ago.

I like being able to trade the current year draft picks or the following year draft picks, but the trade feature sucks...these fuckers don't tell you up front whether they like your trade, you have to back up, go into a whole 'nother screen and see if your trade is accepted.

BULL-FUCKING-SHIT.

I hate how they ruined a good game by taking out the competition. Fucking Goodell.

Madden will never get my money ever again. They took away the franchise feature for some custom careers crap. They removed the only feature that made me buy the game. I play franchise I build the Browns into a contender. I hardly ever played online and the ruin the game for me so f*** you Madden you ruined video game football.
