This couldn't have come at a better time. :)

I belong to another messageboard for women, but it's a "mommy/pregnancy" type board and I can't stand it anymore. These chicks never want to discuss or talk about any REAL issues, it's a lot of white girls trying to portray their lives as perfect. That gets on my nerves! I want to discuss REAL issues that affect me and issues that affect me as a black woman!

I brought up the issue of the mortage/housing crisis in America and only got about 3 responses. These silly white chicks are always coming in there saying, "Look at my new car" "we are going on vacation here, etc"

Then I went to the "prayer forum" one day and all those "look at what I have!" bishes were in the prayer forum asking for prayer because they are going through financial hardship, bankruptcy, etc.

The shit is totally PHONY. Ugh, white women always try to put up such a front! What a joke. :rolleyes:

I'm there and I hate talking to those dingbats sometimes...
But yes I am glad too that there is a place like this..everything isn't always rainbows and candy canes, and I like talking about other things other than what I am going to make for dinner tonight (I don't even like cooking)...

You are soo right about the postings. Look at this crap!! This is from the messageboard I go to:

I went to my daughters school today. The teacher put on a Thanksgiving feast. He had a nutcracking station, a butter making station and a fruit salad station. I was in charge of the fruit salad station. We crushed cranberries in a grinder, added some sugar and then the kids mixed in diced apples, blackberry jello (prepared), and cool whip. It was pretty darn tasty!

Oh yeah, there was a 50 reply post to what their favorite vaccum cleaner is!!!! :smh:

You called them right----dingbats. I just can't believe how phony they are.

I hear you...Yeah I'm all in the old threads...As I said in the Roll Call thread...I signed up a long time ago but I'm just hearing about Sistas Online...about Cafemom..no wonder I signed up a year ago and never been to any of the forums...But I'm happy to be here too...I'm a very laid back person who just likes to chill and have a good laugh...Thanks for this forum!!
