arrgh..people still say this bullshit?

what happened is..

1. the idea is to get people on the dance floor and KEEP people on the floor sweating..then go to the bar for drinks
2. chicks have attitudes [even the grown & sexy ] and don't want to dance with dudes. so what's the point of playing it?
3. slow jams suck now. can't play neyo or chris brown every set
4. reggae rooms..who needs slow jams when you can grind on ass to a fast shabba song?

spoken like a true teenager/early twentysomething. u just ain't gettin it cause you never experienced it. the idea isn't to KEEP people on the dancefloor. it's to work up a sweat then slow things down so they will go chill at the bar or with a woman and sip a few drinks. dudes who are rockin on the dance floor the beat all fast usually stay there

Man, I feel you. Don't get me wrong...I love Hip Hop and all...but it gets tiring after a while and I need to listen to some soft, feel-good music.I miss the New Jack Swing era.

That "Poppin" song by Chris Brown was my shit, though, a couple years back.

the last few parties i did, i played slow jams...

older titles though....that you could dance too....

1 Dudes dancing with each other and chicks doing the same.
2 slow jams are horrible
3 all that song come from the radio playlist (no slow songs)
4 No one ask chicks to dance or do they want it

Most RnB songs today are either face-paced dance songs, heartbroken and "niggas ain't shit" anthems, or more straightforward fuck songs (like Pretty Ricky) than the slow jams of the 90's

Reggae is the new slow (grinding) music at my parties.

Reggae is even better than slow jams because they are generally for rubbing up and not love songs.

I don't need a love song to grind on someone I just met, I just need a beat.:D

they still do in a few cities,,, but i feel you,,, slow jams in the club died after the 90's,,, i remember scoping out the finest chick and waiting for a slow jam to come on

what's wild now, is that women & men don't even dance together in the 21 & over clubs now,,, the dudes are all dancing in a group, & the girls are dancing in a group

:smh: I can not understand that shit for the life of me. They go out in groups and dance in groups or they have dance routines they can't stray from.

took a lot of heart to come out and say that you frequent clubs were men are encouraged to dance and mack to other men. i can't co/sign that type of lifestyle cause i don't believe in it. i prefer to dance and mack to women. surprised other bgol dudes ain't clowned you on that admission. that and the fact u think slow jams are 'horrible'

guess putting women and slow jams together is your ultimate no no then

Whats the point of going to a club or party when your not dancing with a woman......The reason I ask is because I dont go to clubs and rarely go to parties so I dont know...:smh::smh::smh:

Soulja Boy fucked that shit up for the younger crowd and that shit slipped into the 20 something crowd as well, muthafuckas rather be out there doing dance routines with each other (group guys) (group girls)...:smh::smh::smh:

I think females in that type of atmosphere just settle for the aggressive approach because that's what they've become used to. So don't bother trying to approach them in a lady-like fashion.

Slow jams are dead unless you're in the hood at one of the lounges or at a mixed club majority white and they play Usher to end the night...

Well let me set you straight there is no frequenting of men clubs it's just that the regular clubs that's what happens so there is no admission of anything... These new slow jams are horrible not the classics from the 80's 90's and early 2000's

Bruh, you can blame Souljah Boy for alot of shit, but this ain't one of them. This shit started loooong before SB. I'm an older cat who practically lived in Club 112 (The real one next to Rupert's), and I could pretty much tell when the slow jam section was coming up. It was cool and awkward dancing to Lisa Lisa's "Let the Bet Hit 'Em", and then hearing that slow drum roll intro to the slow jam while you and the girl looking at each other like "Are we gonna? Yeah, no?"

After being away from the scene awhile, I went to a club in the mid 90's and was fucking glad I don't go clubbing anymore. :smh: NO slow jams, and a bunch of fucking line dancing songs like "Cupid Shuffle" & "Cha Cha Slide", because niggas don't know how to dance these days.:smh: These days, why spit game while dancing to "Forever My Lady" and you can just buy the trick a drink and then pose in front of a Bimmer during the let out?
:smh:

Grinding with a phat ass female to Juvenile's Back Dat As Up>>>>>>>> Grinding to Soulja Slim's I'll Pay For It(When "Oh Shit!!" comes on....it's over!)>>>>>>>Grinding to any slow jam.....:cool:

I feel you that shit... They really don't do that here in Atlanta. Man I remember those college days. The slow jam came on... I grab a little freak and grind on her... and after the party we off the my room in the frat house getting the groove on.

Duck tales

its too frustrating to talk about

just accept it with the rest of this bullshit going on that you cant change. :smh:

its a slow process....think of the many things that have deteriorated in your life time.

music
relationships
morals

wtf can you do?
btw...thats an ugly kid

rnb has changed alot

rnb singers are more inclined to focus on uptempo songs with rap features instead of ballads

sadly as far as new hot rnb there really isnt alot

besides...even if they did play some slow jams it would just clear the dance floor...niggas rather dance with themselves

that may be true for some niggas but don't front like a lot of you females be acting funny in the club when dudes try and dance with you

one of my theories about the bullshit that is going on in dallas currently goes back to females stopping dancing with niggas in the club in about 05/06 for the most part
