Sleep Paralysis after watching porn

Sleep Paralysis (SP) is a common medical condition and usually tagged nowdays as a Sleeping Disorder.
The symptoms can sometimes include complete to partial paralysis of arms, legs and upper torso, a tight or heavy pressure on your chest sometimes with a choking sensation and almost always experienced as you are about to fall into sleep or just come out of sleep.
The most remarkable symptoms of SP are the accompanying audio and/or visual hallucinations often causing extreme terror and panic in it's sufferers, who more often than not mistakenly believe they are being visited by malevolent beings and other evil presences.

Research shows that SP is linked with REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. When in REM sleep you are usually dreaming, your body does not act out your dreams as you will hurt either yourself, or someone else, so evolution has worked its merry little way of getting your brain to switch off your muscles (so to speak) and relax you while dreaming, essentially paralyzing you to a degree.

Does anyone else ever have experinces this shit late at night. Tell the truth!

Up until about 5 months ago I would get it about 2-3 times a week, didn't have anything to do with porn though.

Shit sucks. It's like your brain is awake but your body is still asleep.

I can deal with the restriction of movement. It's the feeling of if dont fight to get up what is going to happen. Hard to explain. But that pressure or presence seems to intensify if you dont fight it.I have read about the paralysis a while ago and dicided to when the shit happens to just let it happen and I'll just fall back to sleep. (BAD IDEA)That shit got so intense I couldnt got back to sleep once broke free. I truly feel there is more to it than just sleep paralysis.

Got it alot when I was an adolescent...when I was grown, found out I had sleep apnea. Had tonsils removed, that seemed to cure everything but I've experienced it at least 5 times in the last 5 years. :dunno:

Just last week I had two sleep paralysis episodes on the same night :smh:

There definitely could be something more to it than what is clinically explained and it doesn't help that you feel as if there is another presence in the room. Now that can be contributed to what your brain trying to interpret what is occurring and is manifesting an hallucination of sorts but that isn't the case for everyone who experiences it.

:smh: damn, were your sleeping patterns out of wack?

Somewhat, but I was getting it even as a child, so that probably wasn't it, could be stress related.

True, when it happened to me I can't move, I feel like I can't breath, and I drift in and out of consciousness, sometimes I see hallucinations.

My wife gets that shit and she always says, "The hag was riding her." She always thinks it is someone (usually her deceased mother) that is visiting her in her sleep. It used to happen to me years ago, usually coming out of a dream or something. It ain't fun.

Wow     I've been going through this since I was little and never knew what it was. My family and friends used to think I was joking when I used to tell them I could hear everything they said while I was sleep (trying to wake up). My girl wonders why sometimes while I'm sleep my jaw starts moving real fast and making snapping noises. I had to explain to her that this is a way that I've learned to snap out of it. The only thing I can move when this is happening is my jaw. Shit scares the hell out of me when it happens. And I've also had the feeling like ghost or something were hovering near or over while sleep. Also very rarely remember my actual dreams.

i used to get it when it all the time when i was a kid, i remember i did it when we were on a family trip somewhere and i was sitting by the door. I was in (sp mode) so i could hear my momma tellin me 2 get outta the car but the paralysis didnt quite wear off untill she smacked me :(

Damn!!!! Thats what it is. I thought it was part of the dream. :smh:

never happened to me but that shit seems cool , i wonder what that shit feels like
Shit you lucky you never had it happen to you,Its not cool at all feels like you cant move and the most terrifying thing you can imagine is in the room with you and coming to get you. Had it happen to me when I was child a few times, but only once as a adult years ago.
Either my mind was playing a trick on me or that shit was real.
I think that shit was real it felt real and scared the shit out of me,

e bec

this shit has happned to me my whole life. im not even scared of it any more because its so common its almost like a nightly occurance for me. i think this happens to people because there afraid or nervous to fall asleep. i thought my old house was haunted and i was always scared before i went to sleep and the fighting to awake myslef thing would happen nightly. but i remember when me and my brother shared the same room it never happened and when i also moved to my new apartment i felt more comfortable sleeping and it didnt happen as much but its starting to start back up again. my advice for people is dont be afraid of it i've seemed to trigger when its gonna happen and i can wake up fast enough to stop that weird feeling or i can wake up not feeling to weird about it the more u think about it the more that shit fucks with you

Man this shit ain't no joke. I've had it happen to me a several times over the last 2 months :smh: Woke up and couldn't move and it felt like something was choking me. And whoever said the less you fight, the worse it gets was right. Trying to fight out of usually breaks the paralysis for me...

I get it once in a blue moon (not from porn tho)shit is not fun If im on a couch its the worse. I threw myself on the floor to get out of it, that shit is very uncomfortable

Fighting doesnt work for me usually. I just figure its a dream and go back to sleep.

man, i truly believe i was abducted when this shit first happened to me. not only did i feel the presence in the room, i felt and heard a electrical vibration in the room, and could feel beings standing around my bed. then, i felt myself float up into the sky. shit scared the SHHIIIITTTT out of me. started happening pretty regular after that. during the day, i would get this buzzing noise in my ears, like i was walking inside of a electrical field or something. this experience happened (abduction experience) when i was around14 years old, and continued until i was about 30 years old. i would try and scream for help but nothing would come out.

Burn some sage and get a Agnihotra kit (sacred vedic fire).... you got to ward off that negative nrg. spilling seed reduces chi/jing. I imagine this will/could make your a "easier target" for dark deceased and various low density entities & beings seeking refuge. I have had sleep paralysis many times b4 so im just not MAKING UP random shit..:smh::eek: I was usually going thru some negative shit & physically depleted when i experienced it... .

get a sage smudgestick from wholefoods or any health food store.... light it and walk around your house the smoke is very ioinizing some say. I guarentee you will feel a difference, i do.... "smoke out" dark places and corners in your home.... we CAN fight back my brothers...

Man up...

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

For real though, it's annoying doesn't happen to me frequently anymore, but when it does happen I not only feel the presence but I hear voices, or a voice talking in my head, so I will always fight it and not give in...

that is the part that gets me, the feeling that someone else is in the room. I swear one time I heard rustling when I started to come to.

wouldn't meditation be just as effective?

somewhat, these are tools to assist meditation.... for the past ten to twelve years every time i moved into a new crib I smudge it out... to get rid of the negative vibes that existed before hand. you should give it a try and see if it works for you. it just one of things you have to experience to understand...;)

but once you smudge it it best to keep your vibes up (you can have more control over you environment)if it gets negative again it because the smudger/resident made it that way, i have done it with the intention of neutralizing negative spirits...

That right there is why feel it is more than paralysis. About a year ago I was getting that shit bad. And one night I dicided to be cocky and say shit mentally because I truly felt like someone was there. I heard a venIoice say die motherfucker right next to my ear. scared the shit out of me. I got up and called my pops at 2:00am in the morning. In the beginning when the shit would happen it felt like someone was in the room, and I just couldnt move. Now when it happens I feel the presence of something evil. come over me as if it wants to harm me. I hope you never experience what that is like. I though I be glad to know that it was not just happening to me. I hope this ends for all of us asap.

Yup happens to me too I just fight for how long it takes for me to wake up. I know it just me and no one else there but I fear if I don't fight it I won't wake up and some crack head will come in and clean out my apartment.

Now can someone tell me why whenever I have dreams where I am holding my breath I always wake up needing air? :smh: Happening a lot lately.
