Why do everything Repugs disagree with in terms of policy, AUTOMATICALLY equate to being a SOCIALISTIC agenda?
The idea is to win, at damn near any cost.
One way to win is to get the people to rally around what you're saying/doing and against what your opponent is saying/doing.
What do people FEAR, HATE or DETEST ??? It doesn't matter whether the person or idea being attacked actually fits the description of the thing feared, hated or detested.
Many, if not most, people (the masses) may not have a real understanding of the thing feared, hated or detested:
- They can't always clearly define it;
- They typically don't know its origins and history; and
- They typically can't explain how it works or hurts/helps them.
BUT, if you invoke the thing (by saying the word, showing the picture, etc.), people's autonomic response to the stimuli usually kicks right in, like Pavlov's dog.
So, for everything your opponent does, stands for or imagines: paint it as the feared, hated or detested thing.
It doesn't have to be true, if you say it, most times, the autonomic response will kick right in. People rarely research or try to find out whether its true or not.
You say the word "socialism" -- and many people are ready with the evil eye towards the person or ideas "said" to be socialist, even though they may themselves be the recipients of something of value from the government, but call it something different.
