Coffee Bean Butter
Our Coffee Bean Butter is produced by lightly hydrogenating cold pressed roasted coffee beans, shea butter and adding some our SULU ORGANICS Jojoba oil. It has become a favorite among our customers, and we can certainly see why. Its rich coffee aroma, creamy latte color and smooth, buttery consistency appeal to the senses and provide instantaneous gratification.
Coffee Bean Butter is also highly moisturizing, helps to soothe and repair irritated, red and dry skin, and it helps to protect the skin from harsh weather. Coffee Bean Butter is a good choice for inclusion in anti-aging formulations. It is rich in the polyphenol Chlorogenic Acid. Chlorogenic Acid is a powerful anti-oxidant that provides free radical scavenging properties. The phytosterol (plant sterol) content of Coffee Bean Butter also gives it anti-inflammatory action and makes it a useful addition to formulations intended to ease skin redness or swelling. Coffee Bean Butter is also a wonderful ingredient to use in lip and hair care formulations.
Contemporary research has indicated that skin care products containing caffeine, a water-soluble component of coffee beans, may help gradually reduce cellulite. Interestingly, some reports indicate that caffeine consumption may be contribute to the actual formation of cellulite in the first place. Because caffeine is not soluble in oil, it is not found in Coffee Bean Oil or Coffee Bean Butter. Coffee Bean Butter is a soft butter, and can be used as is. Tahitian Monoi Butter
Monoi Butter is a soft, velvety butter containing the essence of the tropical Tiare flower, famous for its aromatherapy action. The Tiare flower is well known in Polynesia for its exotic tropical essence and use in skin and hair care. The manufacturer has combined that essence into an exclusive exotic butter blend which goes on smooth and retains the Tiare essence on the skin. The melting point of this butter is nominally 42 C, making it ideal as a butter-like balm. Unrefined Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter comes from the cacao bean which is found inside the cocoa pod that grows on from the cacao tree. (pronounced ca-cow) The cocoa pod (pictured here) is a large gourd-shaped fruit an inside, 30 to 40 cocoa seeds are found. Hemp seed butter is produced from the oil of cold-pressed seeds of the Hemp plant . It provides the four essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin: LA, GLA, LNA and SDA. Organically crafted Kokum Butter is cold pressed from the seed kernels of Kokum tree(Garcina Indica) and one of the most stable and hard vegetable butters available in the market. It has mild to non-existent fragrance. .Another peculiar feature which makes it popular among formulators of cosmetic products is that Kokum butter remains in a solid state at room temperature, but melts immediately on contact with the skin.
