For some reason, the Celtics have not been the same since they traded Perkins so I wouldn't include those earlier numbers as a good representation of what they would do now. They haven't looked good against the sub par to average teams.
Even though he didn't play in a lot of the Celtic's earlier elite victories... some how with him not on the team anymore, the Celtics do not seem as tough physically or mentally.

I still think the trade was not the right thing to do at the time, but i know basketball. Danny ainge had to do it because perk wanted 9 to 10 million a year and the celtics were not going to play him that!!
so the trade had to happen!! that is why it happened at the last hour of the NBA deadline!! the celtics did not want to do it but why not do it instead of ending up with no players at the end of the year!!
