Shout-out to the Boston Celtics official Thread

ShadyPat!!
you know me!!
I watch every celtic game!!
the problem is not the trade!!!
but it is not having a center!!
big baby is playing center the entire game!!
he's a 6'9" power forward playing a 7'2" center every night!!:smh:
celtics are getting worked in the middle!!!

Like I have said about a million times before!!
the celtics had to make the trade!!
perk is a free agent and the celtics were not going to pay him 9-10 million a year for 4 years(like the thunder did:puke::puke:)
that's rondo and Allen money:eek:
so instead of giving him up for nothing, they got green a great player, and a throw in player krstic!!

when the o'neal boys get back, we will be back to normal, like at the beginning of the season without perk!!!

AMEN.

Big Baby has looked more his size (short) since the trade. Getting the O'Neals back will be great help in that area.

I know RoadRage you did say that!!!
we good!!

I'm not worried at all!!!
the old thing has been said every year the celtics have been in the playoffs!!!
And they have proven everyone wrong!!!

so!! we will see when our centers get back!!!!!!!

Rawness!!!
been telling these fools on BGOL what the problem is!!
but since they don't watch celtics games and just go off of box scores, they don't know little big baby is playing the center all game:smh:!!!

so now we beat the spurs "2" times this year(2-0) and the last 5 times straight times "in San Antonio"(5-0)

One O'neal back we beat the best team in basketball!!!
One more to come.......
.

See everyone april 5th in philly!!!!!
I'll be back to snatch the life out of the heat and bulls like I have done all year(5-0)!!!

Celts are just cursed with the injury bug....Krstic now gone:smh:

He was playing like shit anyway...but damn:smh:

yeah!!
he's been playing awful on defense and has lost his way on offense!!!

One celtics comes back, one goes out!!!:smh::smh:

I see that the spurs saved all their player to come back during the celtic game after being out for the last...
4 games out for duncan
2 games out for parker
2 games out for ginobili
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

good win tho!!!
we needed this for moral!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

now we got another back to back in Atlanta on ESPN:smh::smh:

this back to back shit is getting ridiculous:angry::angry:

If the come up with a win against the Hawks,that will be a good sign...

Even tho the Hawks are a bunch of fags,they get up for the Celts...and now one less big:smh:

I wish it was not....
1) a back to back:smh:
2)in atlanta:smh:
3)and we didn't lose our starting center today:smh:
because we own the hawks(0-3 vs celtics)

oh well!!!
I guess that is why we play the games right:dunno:

Not convinced, with the Celtics win over the Spurs, the way I see it, Boston beat an aging team whose legs are more shot than theirs. A big win for the Celtics, but I am not convinced that their wows are over.

of course not!!
until Shaq gets back and we see his play. Nothing can be said yet!!!
now with krstic maybe down it gets even harder until then.

shaq will be on the team on sunday starting his full practices up from half practices and will start playing april 5th.

we will see if we play better then.

the celtics always play to their opponents level!! whomever it is!!!

if they play the cavs they play to that level!!
it's like a boredom factor:smh::smh:

I'm just glad rondo has picked it his tempo!!
22 points 14 assists,5 rebounds, "0" turnovers:yes::yes:
and dude was hiting his jump shot too!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Any word on what exactly Kristic injured and the severity

Good game by the celtics. But, i have a problem with the celtics, they are a jump shooting team, they rely too much of rondo right now compare to 2008, if rondo doesn't break the defense, they are in trouble.And i don't trust the jump shoot of rondo.In the playoff, every team will let rondo take those jump shoot If they want to be the champs this year, they better hope that the Jump shoot of rondo will be the same of Nash.

From ESPN Insider, so don't bother asking for a link to ESPN unless you are a member. The Boston Herald link is good though.

UPDATE: Shaquille O'Neal went through a training session in Boston on Wednesday and the team still is not sure when he'll return to the active roster.

"I don't have any idea," Celtics general manager Danny Ainge told the Boston Herald. "It could be a week or two weeks. I watched him work out, and he's starting to do things on the court. We're just still not sure of when he's going to come back."

Ainge, O'Neal and Doc Rivers will get together after the team gets back to Boston on Friday to discuss the center's status.

how can a team go inside, if they have a 6'9" center playing:confused::confused:
wait until shaq gets back and jermaine gets his legs fully under him!!
then you will see the inside celtic game!!!

WEEI: Ainge says Shaq could play Sunday
http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/celtics/extras/celtics_blog/2011/03/weei_ainge_says.html
March 31, 2011 05:55 PM
Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge made his regular appearance on WEEI, telling Glenn Ordway and Michael Holley that Shaquille O'Neal will play either Sunday against Detroit or Tuesday against Philadelphia.

"I was just with Shaq, we were just working out down in Waltham," Ainge said. "Shaq is either going to play Sunday or Tuesday."

Rivers told reporters this morning at shootaround that O'Neal's injuries went from being a regular season issue to being something that had the potential to "bleed into the playoffs."

"I think that Doc probably -- "bleed into the playoffs" -- I think is something different than he's not going to play until the playoffs," Ainge said. "But it looks like he's ready to go Sunday or Tuesday."

Your forgot the 5 Turnovers. :smh:

come on blunt!!!
you are allowed 5 turnovers when you put up 22 assist in a game

That's a (4.4 to 1) turnover ratio!!
name a player in the NBA that has that ratio:confused::confused:

I'll wait:idea::idea:

I'll wait again:idea::idea:

let me help you out!!!

nobody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, if shaq gets back fully healthy, he will help, but not too much to be fair with you. He will set good screens, give hard fouls, put some points in the paint, that's it. At this stage of his career, he 's slow, his defense on the pick n roll is getting worst, same with the transition defense. I hate the lakers but to be fair with you, if the celtics gets to the finals against LA, they will lose again

Yo!! click on the video!! and watch it on youtube's site!! they have a button called "1911" with a filter with music that makes it look like a 1911 basketball game with music!!

the only difference is that there are actual black people playing!!!!

think what you want, but the celtics were 33-10 with shaq!!
That includes beating the lakers.
celtics are.....

1-0 against the lakers
2-1 vs bulls(no KG in the one loss)
2-0 vs heat
1-0 vs. spurs
with shaq starting, so I like our chances!!(if we get there:D)

and If you ever watched the celtics, you would know, they don't need year 2000's shaq.
they need an enforcer inside not a scorer!!!
some one to give hard fouls so that the opposition knows not to come into the paint. that is all he did for the 33-10 record celtics before he went down.

You're comparing that to a 14 to 0 ratio!!! Which part don't you get???

I'll wait. :rolleyes:

The part that has 22 assists,12 points,10 rebounds and 6 steals(and 5 turnovers)

I'll take that line over a 22 point, 14 assists, 5 rebound(0 turnover) game from rondo!!

The first game had everyone involved, not just rondo hitting his jumpers.

I'll take the triple double over his jumper staying consistent any day!!!

Looking at the game, and it is apparent that the Cetlics need Shaq asap! Plus Big Baby got to stop shooting those 13 foot jump shots.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

:dance::dance::dance:

Yeah, I know, it was a back to back.

Like we did know they were going to lose the back to back!!!:lol::lol::lol:

let me reiterate........

But Like Beeiii's motto......
"There are no back to backs in the playoffs and celtics don't lose series in the east!!!"

lets try your statement with real stats shall we......:idea::idea:

Celtics record..
vs heat=3-0
vs. bulls=2-1
vs.magic=2-1
vs hawks=3-1
vs.76ers=2-1
vs.knicks=3-0
Vs.pacers=3-1

That's a 18-5(.783 winning % against all the east teams in the playoffs:eek:)
