My 360 just died again, and Im thinking about buying a PS3. Somebody school me on some games to buy for it.

Buy what you like. One is $399 and the other is like $299.

Yea. I coppin mainly for the Blu-Ray. But I just want at least one good game to play on it.
try to find a 60gb ps3 if you got any ps1 and/or ps2 games...

I assume everything is good on it. I only do the sports so Madden, FIFA, 2K8 is all I know. Shit's a are crazy vicious in HD on a big screen when your drunk.
I also hear COD is excellent on it.
My ps3 stopped reading discs but within 3 days (bc i had a best buy 3 or 4 yr warranty) they sent me a prepaid box. within 2 weeks i had it back.

shit didn't the price drop just make the arcade joint $199 now? Shit the 360 is cheaper then the WII right now.
Cant play sports games on PS3. Xbox is made for sports.
This is my one question. If you had to choose only one game to play on your PS3 that's an exclusive, what would it be?

Has your Xbox 360 ever failed unexpectedly? If it has, you're in good company -- in February, warranty company SquareTrade pegged the console's failure rate at a shocking 16%. But a stunning new expose claims that Microsoft knew over two-thirds of the consoles produced by its contracted factories in the run-up to the Xbox 360's November 2005 launch date were faulty, and opted to push the machine out to consumers in spite of its problems.
The report, published this week in VentureBeat and written by technology journalist Dean Takahashi -- author of the critically acclaimed The Xbox 360 Uncloaked -- blames numerous factors for the now-infamous "Red Ring of Death" failures, including a rushed design process, the machine's groundbreaking complexity, and cost-cutting initiatives that hamstrung quality assurance tests.
As one anonymous source told Takahashi, "There were so many problems, you didn't know what was wrong. The [test engineers] didn't have enough time to get up and running."
Even though Microsoft eventually extended the Xbox 360's warranty program in an effort to reassure consumers, incurring an estimated $1 billion bill in the process, public confidence in the Xbox 360 was harmed immeasurably. Many online reports indicated purchasers had to go through four or more replacement machines before receiving one that worked, and Microsoft amassed a "bone yard" of 500,000 broken consoles in the process, Takahashi claims.

I can afford an Xbox now, but I'll wait and see if Microshaft might add Blu-ray.
Gamewise, of course GTA IV and Metal Gear Solid 4...Soul Caliber 4 is good too, I recently got Burnout Paradise and Grid..
For me, though; when my 360 died for the 4th time, I got fed up and exchanged it for a PS3. Haven't had any issues with the PS3 since I exchanged it (thank goodness), and I recently put in a 320 GB hard drive (I have the 40 GB)..
I'm gonna cop a 360 again; yet I will wait until that "Red Ring" shit gets taken care of..

Im not about which is better, I love my 360. I just wish the bitch would work. As long as Microsoft is fixing them for free Im cool. But I'll say this, If it wasnt for Blu-Ray I wouldnt be touching the PS3. Sony dropped the ball on exclusives, and online play IMHO.

yeah I have to agree....most cats I know got both systems...360 for exclusives and online play....
PS3 for blue ray and overall system....honestly the exclusives on 360 wouldn't move me to buy the system....
PS3 is much more than a gaming system so I will roll with that...and 360 is giving its customers the dreaded "ring of death".....
my boys shit fucked up twice with in a month....he gave up on XBOX....
