I have heard about people who sponsor shopping trips to places like-New York and Chicago...How is this profitable? Anyone ever been on one?
Is it wrong for me to go just so I can scope out the business?:D

I am always about figuring ways to make money:cool:

my family does it all the time as a fund raiser for the family reunions. It is usually a day trip to a nearby outlet mall area or to NYC for a day of shopping a broadway play. From my understanding the profit is pretty good as long as you can sell all the seats on your bus/buses.

I think I can swing this hustle...SHOPPING? Yeah I am down for this one.
The one I am supposed to go on is 3 days to NYC...Supposed to hit all the shopping spots. Includes hotel stay and all that. For 357.00... Now I am thinking..A bus load of people 357.00 a piece...
I need to know more about this hustle.

what kind of details do you want? some people let a travel agent handle all the arrangements thus lowering their profits. If you have time you can make all the arrangements that the travel agent makes and it usually comes out cheaper and your profits are greater. once you have a successful first trip the word of mouth will keep people coming back.

Transportation and hotel stay in NYC for $357.00??? Where are you traveling from? What Hotel are you staying at? New Jersey?(I would look it up online first - I hope it is not the Howard Johnson's on Utica Avenue - Brooklyn folks would know about that one - LOL)

Yeah, it's fairly new (and it may be nice inside), but if you know Brooklyn, it is nowhere near the city (take a bus to the subway - 40 min ride in), and certainly not in a neighborhood you'd want to be walking around in at night.

i've been to that spot too the last time i was there they were having a african wedding reception in there. cant enjoy white castle like i use to since they put the calories on fast food menus.

You go to White Castle, the least of your worries is the calorie content  But it is good after a night of drinking and you need something in your stomach.

Coming from Indiana

Maybe I am missing something. Why would anybody pay to do that when there are malls and specialty & outlet stores everywhere?

Coming from Indiana

Wow, that sounds like one pretty long bus ride just to do some shopping in New York. I hope one of the selling points isn't getting "bargains" along Canal Street. NYPD has really been cracking down on the bootleg market down there. There are a few blocks along Canal where all the storefronts are closed because of their illegal activity.

I guess because of the lure of being in New York and the so-called specialty hi-end shops.

Fuck a White Castle.

We got Krystal's :D:D

Hey Onyz, ever thought about coming down to the A? Not sure how much it would be transportation wise but there's a lot more you can do that might cover some costs...

Krystal's? I had to look that up ... Looks like a Southern wanna-be of the ORIGINAL... White Castle

The Location Map looks like a Civil war era map of the Union vs. Confederacy
