If you have an anonymous email correspondence, you show the email and blank out the name but show a partial email address so you can see that it was an organization's official email. If you have a video interview, you blur out the person's face and/or disguise their voice. If you have an audio interview, you leave it untouched.
You don't just say "league source" and run with the story.
They know you readers are too stupid to do your own due diligence or question their legitimacy.

Sanders has been the Browns’ inactive third quarterback for the first two games of the season, after a four-man training camp battle in which he was the clear No. 4. He moved up to No. 3 after the Browns traded Kenny Pickett to the Raiders.
Fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, whom the Browns drafted in the third round, is the backup to Joe Flacco. Gabriel saw his first action on Sunday, when he led a touchdown drive in relief of Flacco on the Browns’ final possession of the game.
Sanders said he didn’t hear about the ESPN report until after the game.

He went behind the city's back and bribe a lot Republicans to move the team to Brook Park,Ohio so his rich friends could come to the stadium. What's even crazy is that the state had the Modell law and Republicans here in Ohio changed the law to appease Haslam...

Except,Grossi said when Shedeur played well against the Panthers that everyone needs to slow down it was the first preseason game. Mind you,Shedeur was playing with a few starters but mostly with the Browns backups on offense against the Panthers defensive starters and their backups versus playing with people that wasn't going to make the team on offense against the Rams.
Playing with people that's not making the team versus playing with the starters and backups matters on offense yet he keeps ignoring it.

I’m starting to think Kevin Stefanski just wants Shedeur Sanders to be a game manager, but that’s not who he is. Stefanski is all about safe checkdowns and keeping things simple, while Shedeur is built to make the big-time throws. So when Shedeur finally sees a chance, he’s letting it fly no matter what—because he knows he can make it. Stefanski trying to dumb him down is only going to backfire. Exactly...the QB Whisperer is good for getting young vets to play solid for a season or 2 with a strong run game to open up playaction windows. Baker according to him and the GM not good enough here, has yet to prove he can build up a rookie qb to play solid or beyond. Though from what i heard from insiders when Baker mouthed off about Myles Garrett during helmet gate. Myles told them it's him or me. They chose Myles.
