Y'all hang with me, I need tech help BAD!!!
I accidentally uninstalled XP service pack 2 after installing XP codec pack 2 and trying to uninstall THAT after problems arose. Now, after I downloaded XP service pack 2 from a link I found, it says that my lisence is expired AND I have a pop-up that covers the bottom 1/2 inch" of my screen that I can't close or even do anything about. I can't click my start menu or have more than one internet page open. I can't even view my desktop, install my updates or anything. I can't have more that one page open at a time because I can't go back to a page once I minimize it (not even by using ALT+Tab). My shit is fucked up. My right click doesn't even work.
If you can help me, I'll owe you one. If I can't get this fixed, the amount of downloading/uploading I will be able to do will be greatly affected because I can't multi-task at all. I will start a help thread tomorrow posting pics of exactly what I see, maybe that will do better than describing it to you. If I am ever going to get out of this I am going to need the help of BGOL.
