Although, one time I was chatting up this beautiful bird, and when I asked her for her number, she took off her glove and showed me her big ass engagement ring. For the briefest of moments, I was irritated that she'd let me waste 10 minutes talking to her, when she could have just said that she had a man in the first place. Then that delightful ray of sunshine bitch flipped the script on me and said--no, lilted--(and I quote) "I'm sorry, but I'm spoken for." I found that shit so utterly charming, that I walked away smiling, just pleased to know that there were sistas like that still extant in the world.
