Sharpton: Blacks Unemployed Because Of Racist Republicans

It's Halloween time, and although most of us Americans will be in costume only on this day, the race hustlers and poverty pimps are in costume every day of the year.

Note how Sharpie Sharp rightfully states the higher unemployment in the black community but fails to show how this is connected to the Republican party with one fact; instead, he repeats the words "institutional racism" and "Republican" over and over. Way to connect those dots Sharpie! Happy Halloween!

It's not fair to blame it on Republicans but poverty is a government created condition, people are purposely impovished so Sharpton is right it is institutional.

We should have Al Gore back as VP. The economy was better back then!

of course it was better;

1) Govt spent less than a third of what is spent now.

2) The effects of NAFTA hadn't been felt

3) No one knew what the fuck Glass / Steagall was.

4) & The Commodity Futures Modernization Act was signed in 2000, on his way out, leaving us with the "Enron" loophole

Al Gore was so good for us!

Very perceptive.

But, to really make the point, I would replace 'government' with 'State' so there is no ambiguity.

Especially his invention, the Internets!:)

Nope there was no poverty before govt. Think about it.

OK, I get it. Because Somali has no government, their is no poverty. It all makes sense now.

And then again, during slavery unemployment was zero.

I tell ya, you right wingers live in a parallel world!

I see. If it's bad, it's not the fault of government.

Just a thought, but when you have masses of armed militia running the streets, it isn't because freedom and justice have arrived. It is because a government is arming these people, whether you want to admit it or not.

As far as I know, Somalia doesn't make AK-47s, missile launchers, and grenades. So, where are they getting them, if not from their government?

Yeah, we all know an organized armed forced is no evidence of a government.

And that slavery argument is just ridiculous. Slavery, by definition, is the result of government.

How can you have slavery without a government to enforce it?

Like I said, if you thought about poverty and government, and realized the truth, your head would probably explode.

As far as I know, the USA doesn't grow Coca leaves or Opium Poppies. So what's your point?

Government ain't all good, it also ain't all bad. Government, at least in the USA is what we make it.

Let me know when a government arms its militia, army, or police force with a cocoa leaf or opium poppy.

Government ain't all good, it also ain't all bad. Government, at least in the USA is what we make it.

Thinking like this is why the government is as bad as it is (and getting worse).

Bingo, so according to your logic Somalia should have no poverty.

How can you have slavery without a government to enforce it?

I guess you know nothing about modern day African slavery.

Do you think their is an enforceable rule of law their?

Rule of law is one TYPE of government.

Are criminal organizations government?

1st - it needs the power of force to back up its actions (militia, army, police, gang, etc.)
2nd - it acts as the ultimate authority and answers to none higher
3rd - it has the obedience of its victims/subjects

Assuming the above, then yes.

impoverished past participle, past tense of im·pov·er·ish (Verb)
1. Make (a person or area) poor: "they impoverish their people"; "impoverished farmers".
2. Exhaust the strength, vitality, or natural fertility of: "the soil was impoverished by annual burning"

Only a government or a collective of people in positions of power can impoverish.

Jesse Jackson does the same thing. He had a "Democratic" rally on his show early this morning.

They just focus on party and not policies.
Wonder why?

Most Americans are politically unsophisticated.

Capitalist like Al Sharpton, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Jesse Jackson etc all capitalize of the ignorance of millions of American people.

3.2 million jobs openings, 15 million unemployed; I don't think welfare is the reason.

Are you going to pick lettuce for 10 cents a head? How much are you getting paid to post your right wing dribbles?

Nothing right wing about my ideas, there is not enough jobs to go around for everybody. Even if a person decides not to work, there are plenty that do.

I have applied for farm work, I don't see nothing wrong with it.

Whatever happen to Black people creating there own jobs and developing are own industries through there own skills. White folks ain't gonna never give us shit. When employment was good for Blacks it was Great for whites we always getting crumbs and leftovers. Time to stop begging for shit. Sharpton needs to speak about black people doing for Self if he don't do that the brother is already bought and paid for.

Your attitude, and your type, is why this country is doomed.

You and your "right-wingers" are two sides of the same coin.

You both want government, you for socialism and your "right-wingers" for capitalism.

Both positions are one path that lead to slavery, serfdom, and indentured servitude.
