Actually she was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and raised in Arizona. She got the Playmate gig after posing for a "Girls of the Pac-12" spread (below).
Playboy aint looking for Black women unless a photographer finds one and presents her to the board and they give her the ok. Playboy just had a Playmate of the Year, that was very dark skinned, 6 feet tall and from South Carolina
But blacks still gotta be rare out there.....and from the looks of her...only ONE parent was black man !!!!! She's biracial the mother is white, my only guess is that dad was in the military.
BTW here's a fun fact (if you wanna call it that). The next black woman that Playboy chose, Kaylia Cassandra (below) was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Same situation as Shanice. Kaylia is biracial (white mother) was born in ND, raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
