The 33-year-old father was fatally shot four times in the head during routine traffic stop early Sunday morning.

Sources say Miktarian was shot three times in the left side of his head in rapid succession at close range. A fourth shot entered just above the officer's left eye as he was lying on the ground.

Bedford Heights Police later found and arrested their suspect, 23-year-old Ashford Thompson, hiding at his sister's home.

Thompson pleaded not guilty in court Monday and was handed a $5M dollar bond. A lawyer for Thompson hints that his client may claim self defense despite the fact that Officer Miktarian's gun remained in his holster and his K-9 wasn't released from his cruiser.

Officer Miktarian's mother wouldn't directly address the self-defense claim - only said that her baby is gone, and his (Miktarian) baby doesn't have a father.

Officer Joshua Miktarian leaves behind a wife and a 3-month-old daughter named Thea. Officer Miktarian was not only a Twinsburg Police Officer, but also volunteered at the Uniontown Police Department, owned a Gionino's Pizza franchise and played guitar in the Akron based rock band "Barium

now twinsburg is a small suburb south of cleveland where you dont hear about shit the only time you see the cops....is because a cat is stuck up a dam tree.....now i know you may ask why am i heated because of this well first somebody lost a life cop or not 2nd this nigga shot the man 4 TIMES in the head????

One other fact that was conveniently omitted from this story is that the police officers dash cam was mysteriously "out of tape" and not activated. From what I have heard, the newer dash cams record just like Tivo, meaning no tape needed, however this officer had an older model and the tape was to be changed after each shift, his wasn't. We can only speculate as to why seeing as though dude is now on a permanent dirt nap.

My personal feelings are like this, it is a shame that someone has senselessly lost their life, and yes I know that ALL COPS ARE NOT BAD, but fuck the dumbshit, when are they gonna stop profiling and fuccking with the black man and community in general? My mom always stresses for my dad to wear his vest, because niggas don't know that, most don't watch anything except music videos or what have you, and have no idea about the laws of our government.
