I saw white dudes commenting on how horrible she looked "heavy" wearing those cat suits. Now she looks ready for those skin tight suits..
She was fit and thick back in the day. She had to be playing tennis at that level. I missed the old thick Serena, she seems to be happy with this new transformation. Just hope she doesn't crash out if her hubby decides to leave her and get him a real barbie.

Lately, I have grown to understand that Serena cares about what people thinks of her. And it’s interesting to see that nothing she does will please people, which is an impossibility in the first place.
In the end, hopefully she loves herself and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about how she looks.

yeah we never saw serena as a beauty queen, not disputed. average not ugly. but we have to have the conversation in the black community [and a few others]...coming up, if a woman had an average face and a banging body she was elevated...as opposed to a woman with a beautiful face and average/no body. especially if they had the fat gene in their family but for whatever reason, fought genetics, worked out hard and watched what they ate...sometimes a short window but always a wonder to behold while it was open...

Yeah I’m not going sit up here and lie. Serena has always been unattractive in the face. I’m not going to make excuses for her either. She hasn’t whitened her skin, got these crazy weaves, and lost all that weight because of what black folks think of her. She is doing it to please crackas. Plenty of brothers would have wifed her and appreciated her natural look and body. Instead she married a frumpy overweight cracka and making herself look like a clown to please him and other crackas.

I honestly think her taking on some of her dads facial features is what turned some people off. And you was reminded of it every time she was on tv because the camera made sure to show her dad. There are plenty of photos of her looking nice in my opinion. Always felt she should've went light on the makeup and stuck with a more natural look. Black women are some the most beautiful women in the world. Especially when they take care their body. She over played her hand with all the blonde weave and makeup.
