I doubt that impeachment or any other serious proceedings will soon be commenced. But, IF they do, I bet money the decision will be based on the answer to the following question:

Will impeachment proceedings help - or - hurt the democratic nominee's chances of winning the presidency in November, 2008 ?​

That my friend, is what I believe the question to be.

- If it significantly helps = impeachment proceedings before the end of the summer.

- if it might hurt or if its up-in-the-air whicy way the people might go = zzzzzzz's

They are not going to do anything - as usual. They knew Cheney lied. They chose to be afraid of being branded unpatriotic. They were more concerned about keeping their jobs, not what was best for the people. Damn shame too.

On a side note, this is one of many reasons why Powell will never get a pass from me on his UN speech. They ALL knew the information was a lie, but like McClellan stated it was propaganda and how to fudge false intel to back their bogus claims.
