Sadly, she's no different from the usual Black Republicans/Conservative/Trump supporters.
Many of these folks feel a need to stand apart from other Black people, so they choose to purposely align themselves with a politician and a political party who has (for at least, the last 70+ yrs) been hostile towards the needs and well being of Blacks and other minorities.
They give themselves titles like; "New Negroes" or "Black Libertarians" and say that they're no longer "on the Democratic Plantation".
They do and say these things knowing full well that by doing so, they'll ostracize themselves from and actually insult The Black Community.
Finally, these folks all subscribe to a revisionist version of history. One in which things like "The Southern Strategy" never existed nor was ever used as a tool to further the divide between Blacks and Whites.
But hey, these are her opinions, and she's welcome to them.
