I bought 4 of these. I like it way better than Google Home Hub.

Ask Walmart to check the stock room if the 10" version is not on display for sale. I had to do that and they found them.
The 10" version has the bamboo back. The 8" has the white back. The 10" one is the one on sale for $99.

why do you like it better?

Might have to pick one of these up.
Does anyone know if you can load 3rd party apps on it?

I have the Google Hub in my kitchen. I bought it from Walmart at the release and was thinking I'd upgrade to the Lenovo by Christmas if I didnt like it. I have no complaints. My family uses it every day, but I cant lie, I am still curious about what the Lenovo can do....

The Google Duo calls would be a cool thing, mostly since my family is Team Android. Ironically; my original reservation against the Lenovo was the camera. I didn't want to be giving the NSA a show. Especially after games like Watchdogs 1 & 2.

Edit: Reviews are saving its unreliable and useless. I think that those reviews are from people thinking it was a legit tablet. I'm used to the limitations of these devices. I'm one of the few people that owned a Sony Dash 10 years ago (My favorite alarm clock ever. I hated that Sony killed it. Now, it's just a BS clock that sits in my den)

The Google Home hub display is only 7"

From what I've seen in reviews on the Lenovo, speaker is clearer not louder, screen is very crisp, clear and the touch pad may be a lil more responsive, other than that it's just the same thing licensed to the Levono brand.

Yeah and the Lenovo has a front facing camera.
Honestly; people seem to be happier in reviews with the Hub, than with the Lenovo.

I'm mainly intrigued by the camera. Just because I want to be able to make and get calls easily while still in my kitchen. Not having to search for my phone or iPad. It's trivial, I know, but it has happened enough to where I wouldnt mind the feature.

Check the date on the reviews, as a lot of the negativity on the Lenovo was because the Hub had slightly newer software on it when it came out and Lenovo wasn't coming forward with when they would update. It was much about nothing as a week or two later it was out. That's pretty much has been true since Novemeber, if Google updates something, Lenovo usually gets it too about a week later.

which is the reason i buy direct google products now.

The Lenovo has a bigger screen and the sound is way better to me than the Google Home Hub. It also has a built in camera that can be covered with a switch on the side that covers the camera.

For $99 it's a steal.

I bought 4 of them.
