I would have loved that set up when I was a kid. I got my nes in the late 80s. I didn't know know Luigi's suit was Green and white until the mid 90s. My parents wouldn't let us put the game on the color tv. They said it would damage there good TV. We had to play on the 13 inch black and white.
Hell as for showing my kids that setup, I don't even think they every been in a house with carpet. Lol
i wish this company did a better job making this fake genesis. if it was done right i would get it for my daughter or something to show her how we got down back in the day lol.
What follows is the official finalized 85 game list for the retail version of the 2017 release of the Sega Genesis Flashback, which should be available next month. The shit sounding Sega. They may have had better sports games(game play wise). But the sounds for that system was atrocious. There was certain games that I played on there. That the sounds and music is great, E.I. shinobi 3. But games like NBA jams,Street fighter, Mortal Kombat, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters. The sound effects and music in those games was garbage.
I saw the Sega Genesis Flashback (the one shaped like the original Genesis) at Target the other day, was selling for $49.
I picked it up, thought about it and then remembered I already had each and every one of those games on various systems at home.
These companies make a killing off the not so tech savvy but if you know how to load a ROM into an emulator, there really is no need for these.
It looked cool for nostalgia but I'd rather save money than buy into the nostalgia just to have a nice little plastic Genesis shaped package that hardly ever gets played.
