you can use a chromecast or if your phone supports it a mhl to hdmi cable and use it on your tv. plus with the support of bluetooth controllers you can have a great taste of yesteryear on your tv.
There are many people who don't want roms, don't understand roms and don't want to jail break their ios devices to put emulators on them, plus after the shit that's going down with the firestick, it's better that nerds and power users keep certain shit underground. This is one of those things.
I'm no expert but Sega might be taking a wait and see approach.
It's quite obvious that console and PC gamers would love to play old SEGA games, Saturn and Dreamcast fans especially.
U don't have to jailbreak your phone to play roms. u just stick them in a folder on your phone, download the emulator app and play
Tell that to the thousands of lazy ass people who couldn't follow simple instructions on how to put Kodi on a firestick and went and bought pre-loaded sticks and created the issues that Kodi has now.
Point is this, people want shit that is simple and easy. If people see an old Sega game from their youth tagged as free (with ads) they are going to download it and play it. Hunting for roms, looking for complete sets, looking for no-intro roms and trying to figure out what those abbreviations mean is going to get tedious to them. They just want to plug and play, that's why the NES Classic was such a hit.
