Chivalry is not dead — but that didn’t help a foul-mouthed subway rider’s boyfriend.

An infuriated straphanger punched, pounded and kicked the fellow rider after the man’s girlfriend showered him with obscenities and twice spit his way aboard a Bronx subway train.

The unidentified attacker ignored his taunting tormentor to batter the boyfriend, landing at least a dozen blows and one solid kick during a 21-second assault captured on two videos.

The attacker, dressed like a construction worker, went off when the woman’s spewing gave way to the spitting.

“F--- the b----, he talk too much,” the woman squawked before the first punch was thrown aboard the northbound No. 5 train. “B----es talk. He’s a b----!”

The woman’s 38-year-old boyfriend suddenly found himself on the floor of the train as the other man unloaded a series of Mike Tyson-esque lefts and rights to the body.

A woman riding a northbound No. 5 train (l.) sparked a brutal fight after she began taunting another rider. The man then lunged at her boyfriend, pummeling him punches and a kick.

The incident apparently began over a seat on the train, with the heavyset woman trying to squeeze into a seat too small for her alongside the man.

The video starts with the woman getting right in the man’s face, putting her hands on him and taking his picture with her phone. She then stands in the subway doors, keeping the train stuck in the Jackson Ave. station.

“Shut your mouth, b----,” she screamed at him. “Come on you, b----.”

An argument over a seat on a northbound No. 5 train escalated quickly into a brutal fight that was captured on video.
The car filled with screams as the angry man tore into the boyfriend, who had tried helplessly to defuse the situation.

“Yo, chill, man,” he said as no one paid any attention.

The assailant exited the train at the Prospect Ave. station, and no arrest was made as of Thursday afternoon.

Woman who triggered subway brawl in Bronx is 'mentally ill,' in-law says: 'She’s beating everybody up all the time'

Even her in-laws say she’s out of her mind.

The instigator of a videotaped subway brawl that left her husband battered on the floor of a Bronx train is nothing but bad news, according to one of her spouse’s aunts.

“She’s mentally ill!” the aunt shouted Friday at her Brooklyn apartment. “She’s beating everybody up all the time. She fights everybody.”

SUBWAY RIDER ATTACKS FOUL-MOUTHED WOMAN'S HUSBAND AFTER SHE SPITS IN HIS FACE

The Wednesday afternoon beatdown on the No. 5 train began when the victim’s batty bride started a screaming match with a male straphanger over a seat aboard the fairly crowded subway.

The woman began spewing obscenities at the man, who shouted back but refrained from getting physical — even after she put her hands on him and pushed her cellphone into his face.

An in-law of the woman who triggered a brawl on the 5 train in the Bronx said the woman is "mentally ill," and that the family hasn't talked to the man since he married the woman.

The man finally lost his cool when she spit at him twice, taking out his anger on her overmatched 38-year-old husband in a brutal 21-second beating videotaped by another passenger.

“I won’t hit a b---h,” the angry man announced to his female tormentor. “But I will f--k your (man) up.”

The beaten man’s aunt said his family has turned its back on him since he tied the knot with his obnoxious significant other.

“He took the wrong route, and we didn’t follow,” the aunt said. “We don’t want to get involved.”

The man who administered the Mike Tyson-style punchout walked off the train after the beating and remains at large despite two videos that captured the attack and its aftermath.

The victim, who escaped with bruises and swelling to his face, filed a formal assault complaint with the NYPD. His attempts to defuse the tension between his wife and the other rider fell on deaf ears.

“Yo, chill, man,” he said just before he was buried beneath a blizzard of fierce blows.

Subway Rider Who Attacked Foul-mouthed Woman's Husband Plans to Turn Himself In
NY Daily News

The incensed straphanger who beat down a wild woman’s husband after she spat on him told the Daily News Monday he regretted throwing down on the 5 train and plans to turn himself into police.

Patrick Crow, 34, was captured on a viral video delivering at least a dozen powerful blows and one solid kick to the head of the husband attempting to block his wife, Queen Muhammad, who was shouting obscenities at Crow as the train rolled through the Bronx.

"I didn't want to do it, I was provoked,” Crow told The News, admitting he lost it after the woman spit on him.

“I was in a different mindframe at that point. I should have been a bigger person and moved off to another side. She took me out of my character.”

Crow said he planned to turn himself into the NYPD Monday.

Muhammad, 33, said the brawl was the result of a dispute over manspreading.

Particpants say the 5 train brawl was sparked either by an outrageous case of manspreading or a woman who didn’t respect a straphanger’s space.
“This manspread thing is getting out of control,” she said, denying she actually spit on Crow.

“I was embarrassed but now I'm quite happy that this video came out and I hope that men are willing to respect women on the subway and buses more,” Muhammad said.

The brawl resulted in Crow being fired from his his job as a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt. His construction job is also in limbo, he said.

Crow recalled that the woman was rude from the moment she stepped on the train at 125th St. and Lexington Ave., announcing that everyone would “respect the Queen.”

She then aggressively sat down beside him without asking if he could make room, Crow said.

Queen Muhammad said the man who attacked her husband (right) is ‘a monster.’

"She just dropped down on my leg... She started to nudge me over with her elbow,” he said.

That's when he decided to spread his legs to prevent the takeover of his space — prompting Muhammad to alert her husband, Crow said.

But Muhammad recalled it differently.

“I wear a size 12. There was enough space for me to sit, he didn't have to push me and elbow me,” she said.

“I wouldn't sit there if I didn't think there was enough room.”

Crow insisted he would have given up his seat if Muhammad had just asked, instead of rudely sitting down.

Spitting on him was one of the most "disrespectful" things she could have done, he said.

He was upset the woman's husband did not do more to diffuse the situation.

“You don't know how to jump in front of your girl,” Crow said.

But Muhammad said Crow belongs behind bars.

“That man is a monster and doesn't belong in society,” she said.

“The way he kicked him, he could kill someone.”

She declined to identify her husband.

"This is very embarrassing for him," she said. “He's doing fine.”

Cops arrest subway rider involved crazy brawl over a seat

The enraged subway rider who attacked a man after an argument with the victim’s wife over a seat was arrested this week.

The incident, which another straphanger caught on video, happened on a northbound 5 train on Jan. 20 at 3:30 p.m.

Police say the argument started in Manhattan, when the woman tried to squeeze into a seat next to Patrick Crow, 34, who was wearing a reflective vest. The woman told police that he elbowed her and she elbowed him back before the two launched into a tirade that lasted across the river and four stops into the Bronx, at Jackson Avenue.

“I’m gonna f— your n—– up,” Crow screamed over and over again after pummeling the woman’s 38-year-old husband with a series of hard punches and kicks that left him on the floor of the train.

Cops arrested Crow, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., on Wednesday afternoon, charging him with assault and harassment.

The Bronx brawler caught on video delivering a beatdown to the husband of a foul-mouthed woman on the No. 5 train last week was arrested, according to the NYPD.

Police said Patrick Crow, 34, was taken in at the offices of Bronx Legal Aid on Wednesday, after telling the Daily News this week he wasplanning to turn himself in.

A viral video of the Jan. 20 fight at the Jackson Ave. station showed Crow and a woman, Queen Muhammad, 33, cursing each other out over a seat. When Muhammad spat at Crow, the burly construction worker unloaded about a dozen fierce punches onto her innocent husband’s face, plus a swift kick to the head.
