Scottie Pippen........HOF?

I knew scottie for his defense.... But after watching the vids I'm hands down saying that he was the best defender EVER to play the game of basketball. I have never seen a player play like Pippen. No one is touching him to this day. You simply cant teach or coach that kind of talent.
why?
there are a couple clips that show good footwork (earvin johnson, mark jackson), anticipation, and help rotation, but many of the clips show AVERAGE D and HORRIBLE O.
take the charles barkley clips for example. both of those turnovers were caused by poor entry passes into the post. NOT above average D.
you also had examples of post players who got lazy and did not seal scottie pippen (danny manning, larry johnson, terry cummings).
those failures of fundamental O often mislead casual viewers into thinking that they are watching good D.
the clip of scottie pippen harassing anthony mason doesn't even belong in a highlight collection.
The thread title question is silly and Pip was a great defender no doubt but the best ever?!??? Its a highlight reel bro. Its supposed to make the person at hand look all-world. Relax.
Oh, and am i the only one who thought he recieved some questionable charge calls that went his way?? Jumping under a nigga when he in the air and letting him come down on you is not defense. I guess his rep as a great defender had its perks.
On a related note, isnt it sad what the NBA has become? Half that shit Pippen was doing would be a whistle today. You cant get away with nearly the contact they once did. Sad.

Of course. Pippen was one of the great players of his era. Yeah, he had Jordan on his team but how many titles did Jordan win without Pippen, before or after?

Pip goes balls deep on this one. This was an ingame dunk in the playoffs between hated rivals with the best player on each team being involved. Both HOF. Props Pat(great center despite numerous facials)
