I was a Schlitz malt liquor guy until my mid 30's
As I got older I couldn't handle it.
Then I went to Budweiser
then to Bud Light
then to Coors
Now I'm at Miller High Life
We use to call schlitz....shitz for obvious reasons.
I had a 35 year love affair with St. Ides. We broke up year's ago. I drank Crazy Stallion for a while until the flavor changed. Now I'm back to drinking cane liquor.

these commercials...i've never been a beer drinker, but these commercials take me back to when i was sneaking sips out of the cans out the fridge before handing over to pops...
70s...rufus thomas and wilson pickett...i'm old enough to remember those on tv...wilson was a cool cat with the elevator chair
and of course billy dee...'don't let the smooth taste fool ya'
that era led to my favorite 80's 90's jingles...8 ball and st. ides brew here in l.a....pushin' poision but damn those were the days
