Scam culture goes a lot deeper than just the obvious blatant scammers. If you ask most Black people today, even those with “financial literacy”, is it possible to make 20% return on little risk, they’ll say yes.

I dont think I agree with that.
There is nothing wrong with financial literacy. I wish the topic was as prevalent years ago when I was blowing money on stupid shit. Those selling get rich quick schemes are the fraudsters.
If someone really wants to achieve financial freedom, it's going to take a lot of work.

EYL are NOT scammers. They have had a few people on there that may have done some questionable things later, but they never knowingly have people on there that are known scammers.
You can't possibly know if a every guest will do something foul in the future.
JT goes beyond just pointing out disinformation and starts to disrespect and slander people.
JT even admitted that when he only talked about facts and positivity he didn't get views. But when he started slandering people his views and subs picked up.

I feel you and I never watched any of his finance videos prior.
I will say anyone he calls out, he does ask them to come on his show and explain themselves or provide more context. I think the only person he put on blast that came on was the dude that sells non accredited PHD degrees...
I will say all his claims are backed up by evidence and he shows documents that you can look up yourselves.
Have you ever checked out their network?
They have tons of info that I myself have used to make money. 95% of the time they have great guest who share insight into their fields.
You can learn about credit building, real estate, stocks, trucking, event spaces, apparel, etc.
Its unfair to lump them in some sort of scam because they made a mistake and cosigned someone giving questionable advise. It is not their intent to scam anyone and they have far more valuable content than that clown JT and his fat pal Eli.

I totally see your viewpoint and I 100% believe EYL are not scammers and providing good information on how to invest and etc.
I think JT has even said that on his livestreams that what they are doing is good, but that they need to do a better job of vetting people (which I agree with)...
Since they have a large following and people respect their content, if they have guest on people will be incline to want to buy those individuals courses or implement any advice these people are giving...
