The Sandman
Season 2 Final Season
12 Episodes

I finished up the final season last night at home on Netflix.

The season mainly goes thru 3 phases with the story. It starts out first with Morpheus rescuing his first love from Hades and confronting how his past actions have negatively affected others. It then proceeds with him searching for his brother Destruction and concludes with Morpheus fulfilling his personal destiny.

A number of new characters are introduced thru out the season including Morpheus’ son and parents. Odin, Thor and Loki are introduced and are portrayed by how they are in Norse Mythology, not what you see in the MCU. Loki is the stand out of the three.

For the Militants, there is interracial with WM/BM, just PDA is shown. Morpheus’ mother is revealed to be a BW.

For the Gay Agenda trackers, Morpheus sibling Desire is a female trans. Nothing is shown. Also a Black female trans character is introduced, nothing is shown. There is WM/WM gay interaction, PDA is only shown. And there is a Lesbian BW/BW couple. Just PDA is shown.

Like the first season, the series is visually stunning and keeps your eyes glued to the screen. VFX/SFX are at top level thruout. The stories flow nicely and blend in perfectly with each episode.

The season is a slow burn, lots of dialogue, but it’s not boring and you should stay interested, even if you suffer from TV ADHD.

There are 12 episodes, but 11 deal with Morpheus. There is a special 12th episode dealing with Morpheus sibling Death. It looks like her character might be getting a future spin-off series.

I haven’t read the original comics, but this series has struck my interest and I might go read them being they go more in-depth with character/story.

Overall, it’s a well done series and is enjoyable if you binge watch it.

I'd say Desire(which I feel is the second best supporting character of the series) is more androgynous opposed to trans. It just happens to be acted by a man. BTW Death & Despair make and appearance in short show Dead Boy Murders.

Agree. But you know on this forum, any man who dresses or acts feminine is Gay.

Like the character “Slug” in Ironheart, cats were just focusing on the character as being Gay, even though the character never interacted with any male character in a sexual way.
