First ep felt cheap(anyone who's read the comic couldn't possibly think that was a worthy adaptation.) I'm glad they're at least following the story outside a few weird choices, will watch the rest and get back. Really wish it didn't feel so cheap and the acting wasn't so cheesy, Hate Boyd Holbrook don't know how he still gets work. He's like a shittier Sam Worthington. Feels like you need like a Chris Nolan or Darren arronofsky to direct and definitely a better composer.(music felt generic as fuck)

If you can get passed the murdering faggots in that one episode, then I'd say it's worth watching. I especially like that there are just as many black actors as white actors in this series, albeit they're all brits.

The debut season ends on something of a cliffhanger, and the team is keen to adapt the rest of the comics.
A season 2 will ultimately come down to many different factors, some of the important ones being how well it performs on Netflix, including how many people start and, perhaps more crucially, how many people finish the show.
Many will no doubt be comparing the show’s performance against two other huge fantasy shows coming out over the Summer of 2022, House of Dragon for HBO Max and The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power for Amazon Prime.

A lot of them had an underlying Gay subtext.
All those British/Scottish cats like Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Grant Morrison, etc were tackling shit unheard of in Comics.
As long as the writing was good on most of those books,
I accepted that shit a long time ago.

It's practically a given now.
