So now people have no problem paying $1000 for the phone.... but when it was Apple foh

To me with Apple it was all about the size. With the Notes we were like Spen plus bigger phone gonna come with a bigger price than the S series. Apple was selling a phone that was smaller than their PLUS SIZE model for $1000 that did the samething and only thing they added was some Animoji feature..lol

Yoooo I never noticed the secure folder. But for real though when I get this phone I'm holding onto it for awhile close to 4 yrs if I can

I HAVE NEVER NOTICED THE SECURE FOLDER OPTION UNTIL FLOSSY MENTIONED IT

I’ve been downloading hidden folder apps for years so when I heard the words “secure folder” I knew exactly what they were talking about and it’s one of the reasons I got the Note 8. I only use it for pics and vids though, the only app that I have 2 accounts with is Instagram and it lets you change between them with just a push of a button

Member to activate developer options and turn off animations go to settings/ about phone/software info/ build numbers tap 5 times and Boom! Developer options open. Back out to settings scroll down to bottom there it is. Also if you want to delete the bloatware to make it more snappier get the package Disabler Pro($3.49) thank me later. I'm rocking Nova launcher Pro ($5.00)

How is it that Samsung to Chrome and made it better. With the Samsung version of Chrome, you can add a ad blocker to it, and it has dark mode.

Honest question, why does 512GB even matter lol. Are you really going to walk around with 500 gigs worth of data on your phone? Between music streaming services and the fact that the phone still has an SD card slot I just never really saw the point in paying more for that. Especially since performance wise the difference is basically nil. Hell with the 8 I never even hit 64 gigs but I just don't keep shit on my phone long. If it's pics or videos I want I just move it to my ssd. Music I just put in google play and stream. I guess I just look at it like if that bitch comes up lost or stolen I don't even want that much data on it.

internal storage, that will be plenty for me.

I want the 512 version because of the extra Random Access Memory.

The 512 version has 8GB of RAM instead of 6, like the 128 has.

Most brand new laptops don't even have that much RAM!

That extra RAM should be huge as far as computing and

multitasking and running a shit ton of apps at the same

time without even blinking!

I addressed that in my post though. Reviewers have already said that 2gb of ram isn't even noticeable performance wise that's why I didn't get why it was a big deal.

yeah thats why i got the 128gb i just didnt see why i needed the 512gb ,and i do use data alot! cos i use media Files which takes up alot of memory but i also dont want that much data on freaking phone that could get easily lost or stolen , even if i encrypt it , its just the thought of having that much stuff on a phone..idk , and i also will use the external sdcard anyway 128gb local plus 250gb =378gb! !! its more than enuff ,knowing i have google play & amazon cloud unlimited for photos +videos (major cause of mem oryfull!)so i dont need to pay $300 more for it

I'm not too impress so far, the camera seems ok, seems like other phones I had in the past the camera seems to have been better( Huawei mate 9 and nexus 6p). Hands down the screen is the best I seen on a cell phone. I haven't had a Samsung in along time but the volume buttons being on the left side the phone is annoying to me. Customizing seems to be limited but I think still have to play around with the phone some more. Loving the storage space. Speed of the phone is legit also. S-pen really haven't had a chance play with yet. Only had the phone for a couple days so I'm sure I'm missing something, but I'm keep playing around with it.

its not samsung....its android..do this.. Enable developer options.... go into "settings"... search for "running services"..uninstall or disable all the shit that you don't use...should help a little bit.

I work in places where using a cloud is not going to happen. 30 plus days offshore with dial up speed will have you pulling your hair out.

Right now I have the note 8 with the 128 and a 256 card. They are starting to limit us to 12 kilos on the helicopter, so I bring my note, dex station and mouse and I have a capable laptop replacement. Trading music and movies is big shit overseas and you add a few large movies/tv shows on your SD and that shit goes fast. Extra 2 gigs of ram will help with multitasking.
