I just use galaxy forever and swap the old phone for the new one every year. I get a discount through my job so it's only 20 bucks a month for the phone.

Let the shake down continue. I just noticed that my note 9 doesn't have visual vm. This is a old feature that windows phone has had forever.
I thought that something like that would be through your carrier's voice mail app.Let the shake down continue. I just noticed that my note 9 doesn't have visual vm. This is a old feature that windows phone has had forever.
Thats crazy this ol ass blackberry PRIV that's about to get demoted..
Had visual voice-mail

I don't see it. Any idea on how to turn it on?I thought that something like that would be through your carrier's voice mail app.
That shit was just integrated into the windows phone.I thought that something like that would be through your carrier's voice mail app.
LOL Naw man. They definitely stole from the Apple playbook on that X branding. They go back and forth endlessly. Apple and Samsung are the tech versions of the Hatfields and McCoys.
Its not an "x".... its the roman numeral 10.. its an iPhone 10...not an iphone x... damn.

But the phone carrier handles voicemailThat shit was just integrated into the windows phone.
What carrier is that? AT&T never charged me for Visual VM. The feature is nice but it ain't worth paying for. I had it on all of my windows phone, same plan, new unlocked samsung note 9 and the feature vanished. But the phone carrier handles voicemail

I'm on AT&T and noticed my unlocked phone I bought direct from Samsung didn't have this. So I downloaded the Visual Voicemail (AT&T) app from the playstore and worked fine.Let the shake down continue. I just noticed that my note 9 doesn't have visual vm. Fam. iPhone X, Note X. Be it a 10 or letter X, in both cases it represents 10 in some form. Tenth Galaxy Note. Tenth anniversary of iPhone (A gang of folks called it and still call it "iPhone X (ex)). Yes, as indicated in the thread title. Samsung ripped the branding iPhone used, however you cut it.Really?
What's the title of this thread?
Same here and i upgraded from the note 4 yes the 4 i aint beat for the latest phone im gonna have that bitch for at least 4 years before i think about spending another 1000 and fuck samsung if they think i'll spend 1500 on a phoneAt this point these companies expect niggas to buy a new phone every 5 months? I just got the note 9......
Good looking out. It was already integrated on my windows phone. How do I turn it on in Pie?I'm on AT&T and noticed my unlocked phone I bought direct from Samsung didn't have this. So I downloaded the Visual Voicemail (AT&T) app from the playstore and worked fine.
I just looked, every carrier has the app on Playstore. All four of the big boys.
Then with this new update to Android Pie, it came included in the upgrade software and works seamlessly.
I have now deleted the AT&T app.

I'm about to download the carrier app. It shouldn't matter as all of my previous phones were unlocked and had VM out the gate. With S9+, the unlocked version didn't have visual voicemail, but the carrier versions did. I'm assuming the same was true with the Note 9.

There's an app on my phone called Voicemail from Samsung. If you don't see it already on your phone then get it from Galaxy Store. Or try one of the Visual Voicemail apps direct from the playstore for your carrier as I mentioned.Good looking out. It was already integrated on my windows phone. How do I turn it on in Pie?

Still rocking my Note 8 just fine at the moment.
Samsung's use of Roman numerals in Galaxy phone names goes all the way back to the Galaxy S II in 2011.

Y’all hardcore Fandroids are funny as hell. LOLBOOM!!
Samsung has used roman numeral in the past on multiple devices before Apple which doesn't matter to me at all. You're the one who said Samsung is copying apple and I simply pointed out that Samsung has a past of using roman numerals years before apple. Motorola first release Moto X back in September 2014 and released a moto x second, third and fourth generation of the brand name each year until 2017 so by your position on the branding didn't apple copy Motorola? The point is simply that apple didn't invent roman numerals. Y’all hardcore apple-dumplings think apple invented everything that they place in a commercial when it has already been done before.Y’all hardcore Fandroids are funny as hell. LOL
You actually really think Samsung is incapable of copying Apple.
Apple’s iPhone’s radical redesign was the first to use a Roman numeral X....pronounced as 10.
Samsung’s radical redesign will be called X.... pronounced like letter “x” in a (failed) attempt not to be seen as copycats.
@Database Error In order for your argument to hold water- besides the Note 2, all the other iterations of the Note Series would have had to have been branded with Roman numerals. We both know that’s not the case. It was just the second gen. After that, Notes 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 have been branded with regular numbers. Just like every phone Apple made from 1-8 used regular numbers.
Furthermore, since you admitted that Samsung’s “X” IS a Roman numeral, and we both know that it represents number 10, you just murdered your own argument against them copying Apple.
