Going back to Prodigy, I take the “suck my dick” comment personally. We were about to get it on one night in a club. I told Prodigy and everybody in his crew that I would cause them physical harm. Ask Sickamore or Gotti. They were there. These niggas said they had guns. I said, “Not you, Prodigy, you’re too small, I’ll beat you up with one hand. But I’ll fight any one of y’all niggas one on one.” Nobody wanted to fight. This was when the Tru Life situation was going on. They kicked us out of the club and nobody in his crew wanted to pop off. He’s just hiding behind the niggas around him so he’s got his little bird chest poked out, but he’s pussy and he knows it.

Co-sign to the fullest. Saigon is one the best lyrically conscious rappers out. Most people can't adjust to a rapper who doesn't stick to the generic topics (money, jewelry, cars & hoes). If some of ya'll took the listen to his verses, and not just listen, u might learn something.

Prodigy and Mobb Deep are one of my favorite groups of all time...but let's be honest, the Summer Jam incident still haunts P to this day and he was THROUGHLY outshined by Havoc on the Mobb's last album, nigga sounded like he was drugged the fucked up the whole album. Saigon, on the other hand, is nice as hell on the mic and would eat P alive in the booth.

Rapping is the only profession where how good you are is secondary to how tough people perceive you to be. It's pathetic. Producers don't have to be tough, DJ's don't have to be tough A&R's don't have to be tough but if you are a rapper you gotta be a tough guy.
