I'm not making excuses at all but I know after my moms passed a couple years ago I sat in the house for 6 months. Even up until recently when stuff would happen I would try to call her then realize, dog, you cant call her. Now I've rechanneled that pain and try to do things to make moms proud, got in shape, stacking paper and learning to love myself so that I can truly be happy. Never had a problem with drugs or alcohol, just depression, thank God.
