Actor Darius McCrary, best known as Eddie Winslow from the sitcom "Family Matters," was recently thrown back into the limelight when he got caught in the web of Karrine "Video Vixen" Steffans, a.k.a. "Superhead." We learned that Darius was living with Karrine (or having what he calls a "long sleepover").
In the first chapter of Karrine's latest book The Vixen Diaries, Karrine speaks of singer and stylist Norwood Young ("A Man Named Norwood"). Norwood, who is Darius's godbrother, is not happy that Karrine exposed private conversations he had with her, including his mother's name and his confession that, as a child, he was sexually abused. Norwood said the first chapter "was so shocking, because that means the chick went home and took notes and kept them. She had always planned to put me in a part of her book." Norwood said if he had not been ready to discuss his sexual abuse, the chapter would've devastated him and his mother. "She would have blew my whole life out of the water. And you're supposed to be my friend," Norwood said.
Norwood and Bobby Brown, who has also been romantically linked to Karrine, tried to warn Darius about getting too close to the Video Vixen. But Darius had to learn for himself. Once Darius's friendship with Karrine ruined his relationship with his girlfriend Shakiri Hightower, he started dating Karrine.
Then, during her promotional tour, Karrine announced that she was engaged to Darius. Reps for Darius said that this is not true.
When Darius called S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown to tell her what really went down between him and Karrine, Jamie found out that he had just packed his bags and left the vixen's home the day before. Read on for the juicy details.

Jamie: Darius, with the big feet! [laughter]
Darius: Well, these big feet have gotten me into another situation once again.
Jamie: You were gonna marry this girl--you were in love? I'm talking about the one I met at the BET Awards.
Darius: Oh yeah, yes.
Jamie: You were gonna--she has a child--
Darius: I was serious about it. But you know what happened? I ended up getting with Karrine, and she was really pi$#ed off about it. And she--we couldn't work through that. I was playing around with Karrine. It was not serious. It was a videotape that we did and I had thrown an event for the ESPYs. And Karrine and I were joking around on tape. And I did a little thing for Karrine's website, and when my ex saw that, she was really, really pi$#ed about it.
Jamie: What was this little thing you did for her website?
Darius: Well, it was just a manicure/pedicure thing at this salon called L'Orangerie in West Hollywood, and you know, a lot of people showed up for support. And I'd said, you know, being that this is my event, I'm going to go beyond the call of duty. And I was like, "Karrine's feet are really sore and I'm gonna give her a foot massage." So I started giving her a foot massage on tape for her website, and this older lady came by and she said, oh my god, you are so lucky. And she said, "Lucky this is my husband." And--
Jamie: That's what Karrine said?
Darius: That's what Karrine said. And so that's how this whole marriage thing got blown out of proportion. That's where it all started. And you know, we actually were playing with that, and we kinda made it a little viral situation on her website. And so everybody started saying this is her husband, and you know, we kinda been joking about it. And so Shakiri Hightower, who I was with--and I was serious [about]--said it was embarrassing and she was upset about it. And I was--it was a foot massage.
Jamie: Yeah, but based on who Karrine is, maybe that is embarrassing.
Darius: Yeah, well I know that now.
Jamie: I mean, Shakiri was so cute. I was like, Darius did what? So you can't get her back?
Darius: No, I don't think so. That's gonna take a lot of work and time.
Jamie: And you ain't gonna put that work and time in there?
Darius: Well, I got Karrine to worry about. [laughter] I mean, seriously, I just finished another movie, you know? Pilot season's going up and I got a possible television situation and I got a lot of work ahead of me.
Jamie: Okay, now is Karrine gonna be mad at you for denouncing her and stuff? Because I think she even said she was with you on Jamie Foxx's show.
Darius: Yeah, see, this is my problem with Karrine. Like, whenever I do something, I think about how it would affect her. She's not cognizant at all--like, when she says these things and does these things, like, how is this gonna affect Darius? Her main thing is, like, "I gotta sell books. I'mma deal with you right now because wow, you're more popular than I thought you were."
Jamie: Really? That's what she thinks?
Darius: That's how she thinks, yeah. So it's like, for me, one minute she's all about me and then the next minute it's Wayne and, like, you know? And I will say this: She is really clever concerning the way she works the media.
Jamie: Well now, you were helping her. Weren't you taking care of her little boy or something like that?
Darius: Well, what I did was, she had to go out of town to start her book tour. And her mom was supposed to come out, and her mom didn't come. So, at the last minute, you know, I just was like, you can just leave him with me.
Jamie: Oh, so you kept him at your house?
Darius: No, I kept him at her house.
Jamie: You stayed over there that long?
Darius: Mm-hmm. Yeah, actually I had been kinda caught up in Karrine's web, and I'd been at her house for the past three months.
Jamie: It's that good, huh?
Darius: It's something else. I mean, I couldn't go back to Shakiri.
Jamie: But what is it that she does to the guys? I mean, they just lose their minds over her.
