But why did Netflix name the series Wu Assassins when Wu-Tang had nothing to do with it. :rolleyes2:

Nah, I am fucking with you. Folks in the Wu-Assassins thread was saying that and I didn’t know if they was playing or not. Lol. Good shit will check it out.

Edit: for nostalgia sake, some of these movies are on Netflix. Go get your Saturday morning Kung-Fu theater on.

Good watch. The Rza was real deep with the Kung Fu stuff. When I first heard Enter the Wu-Tang I just thought they was messing around and had some dope lyrics I didn’t think that much thought went into what they was doing (that was a young naive me). I watched Kung fu movies in the 80’s on Saturday mornings and just liked the action. I didn’t pay very much attention.

It’s cool to see him take his love for Kung fu movies and incorporated it in his music and movement along with the other members of the Wu. Not only that he went on to research the culture and totally immerse himself into the culture taking his love even further to make more music, make movies about Kung fu, learn Kung fu, and study Buddhism. He wasn’t a culture vulture he was true about his. That’s what’s! Much love, respect, and admiration. One.

Good stuff
