MVP = Westbrook
That is all.

Take both off of their teams, and whose team would have the better record? That's not the only stat but he's the first in NBA history to do so.. either way Harden has the best record of the 2 and if precedent holds then by default Harden will get it
Hilarious how you guys stay focused on FG attempts. As much as you try to focus on on narrative yo fit your relatively weak theory about FGA and avoid focusing on the other two areas which are the real reason in concert with his scoring his season is so phenomenal, you should do a little research before typing. There's a reason he's the first to do it. What would LeBron's numbers look like if he shot forty times a game? More importantly what would the Cavs look like if he did? Answer? They'd look like OKC. Work your way around the league and find all the "stars" and look at their role on their team. None of them have the luxury of shooting the ball forty times. OKC is selling tickets and hope. They've given Russell leeway to do what he's doing knowing full well that a) he could win MVP and that would put some shine on a situation/season where b) competing for a championship is out of the question.
So technically I'm really not that impressed by the numbers. Common sense says if one extremely talented player shoots 30/40 a game he's going to put up a lot of points. Common sense says if said player is shooting 30/40 times a game defenses will key on him (think LeBron and kick outs) and he will also have high assist numbers.
Bottom line? None of the other potential candidates have that luxury and it is a luxury. I think it's far harder to put up stellar numbers and win playing with other quality players. What are LeBron's numbers with Irving? What are Curry's numbers with Thompson and Durant? Far more difficult to achieve.

I think they'll go Co-MVP if Westbrook averages a triple double season he deserves it and Harden does as well. That's not the only stat but he's the first in NBA history to do so.. either way Harden has the best record of the 2 and if precedent holds then by default Harden will get it
Lebron
ghost of wilt looking at you againAll time great single game performance last night![]()

this proves kobe should've of won that yr when nash won if people believe this idea..i said yrsss ago kobe got robbed but everybody was talking about his team record..they still went to the playoffs with luke walton, smush parker, and kwame brown...kobe dropped 40 14 straight games..that nig went off and still didn't get the vote( i still think it's cause the rape charge)I keep hearing how restbrook should be 2nd or 3rd in mvp voting and im like how..nobody in the league has done more with less..!!
this dude deserves the mvp and it should be unamious...i cant see it any other way
Why not go for this accolade though? OKC ain't winning a championship regardless. They ain't a championship team this year or for the next couple of years.
He lost a prime time scorer and is playing with smedium talent. People will for get these players (expect for @shaddyvillethug, master of remembering smedium NBA talent ) when they out the league.
How many assist?ghost of wilt looking at you again
100 points 25 rebs

Thats whats being missed man... You got fools missing games cuz they are 'tired' and they arent carrying the overall load Russell is, yet you dont hear him bitching and moaning like those jokers....I'm most impressed that this kat is on 100 every night without injury. Dude puts his body on the line regularly.
Add the fact he is spitting out triple doubles like its nobody's business is extraordinary.
Nothing but respect. MVP for sure, no doubt. Fuck that co shit with harden's lazy defensive playing ass.
It actually does because only one team can win a chip per season and it doesnt negate the performance of everyone else in the league...Great Season for sure...Golden State had a Great Regular Season Record too, does it really matter if you don't win it all?
Ask New England if they would have traded a regular season lose instead of a SB lose to the NY Giants?
Westbrook for MVP.![]()

you didn't mention that the talent disparity he was playing against, would be like if Bron was playing against High Schoolerswilt

bron plays in a league where nigs take off cause they're tired..bron plays in a league where there is no more all star selections for centers anymore cause that position sucks so bad... bron plays in a league where most players don't have basic fundamentals.. hell lebron still lacks basic post up skills.. so you can kinda say he is in a league of highschool playersyou didn't mention that the talent disparity he was playing against, would be like if Bron was playing against High Schoolers![]()
kobe 2005-2006 reading this likeThe fact that he wz left for dead makes me wanna give him the edge.
He laces up and does the best he can possibly do in a new team structure on the fly.
If that aint mvp what is??
Nah you missing the point. Bron ain't the biggest or fastest. Wilt was like 3-6" taller and maybe 40-60lbs heavier than everybody he played against. An he was a freak of nature athlete anyway, but even if he wasn't its still ridiculousbron plays in a league where nigs take off cause they're tired..bron plays in a league where there is no more all star selections for centers anymore cause that position sucks so bad... bron plays in a league where most players don't have basic fundamentals.. hell lebron still lacks basic post up skills.. so you can kinda say he is in a league of highschool players
Harden has scored 2000 pts and assisted on 2000 pts.. sorry bruh statistically Harden is having more of an impact on his team that WB..
Harden will get it
