Ruben Studdard has filed for divorce from wife Surata Zuri McCants.

On November 16, 2011 Studdard's attorney announced that Studdard was in the process of a divorce. "Ruben Studdard and Zuri McCants Studdard have separated, and they are in the process of seeking a dissolution of their marriage," said Byron Perkins.[24]

If you have not heard by now, Ruben Studdard got married. His new wife’s name is Surata Zuri McCants. It appears McCants was in one of Nelly’s video. Nelly is a platinum selling Hip Hop artist. Although Ruben claims to have met McCants at an album signing in Walmart and then later chased her down the toy section, McCants has been digging for gold for a min now according various Atlanta sources. She has allegedly been seen with the pro basketball team, pro football team, and any baller team. She is known in the baller world of girls in Atlanta.

McCants , whose current age is 30 something, was the alleged woman that started the BET video controversy awhile back.
