Rosetta Stone 2007 Ultimate 26 languages

How are the Rosetta Stone packages? I just called the number and ordered Japanese. I learned Spanish in udergrad. Hell I think I'll grab Spanish too. I ordered Japanese I think that's gonna be major in today's world.

I think all versions work for the MAC. I have not tried it, but that is what the manuals and their website have stated. So just install normally and you should be good.

Dude. Get your COMPLAINING ASS off of this post. My megaupload downloads at 1700 kbps sometimes. I needed 2 episodes of Grey's anatomy last night because my DVR didn't record it. 4 Megaupload links downloaded in less than 5 minutes TOTAL!

Rapidshare I'm licky if I see 300 kbps. Also, rapidshare has a 200MB limit. It's better than it's old 100MB limit, but it is still less than Megaupload's 1GB limit.

You know I downloaded this program and burned a DVD for the application and the two spanish packs. When I go to put the DVD with the application back in it won't pop up with anything. What am I doing wrong???

Got all the files but ehen I burnn to disk I have a 3.6 Gig file in UDF format.

Won't run the program, when i insert disk Nero ROM pops up.

Check individual RAR file sizes to make sure some parts did not stop short during the download process. All parts of the RAR files (except the last file) should be the same size. :confused:

Go for the latest version 3 here (it's WAY better), unless you need a particular language from V2:

I don't really think there is a "better" way. Any way is good, but it ultimately comes down to the time the person is willing to put into whatever method he or she is using AND being around native speakers. I watch the Spanish channel a lot. Two of my best friends are Spanish, as well. I can't tell you how much influence they're having on the process for me. I like to pick up Spanish newspaper articles and that helps with my grammar.

Long story short, it's all about immersing yourself, no matter what method you choose. Also, a combination of methods (Rosetta Stone, text, publications, tv, music, etc.) is a great idea.
