When now that Chicago has a history of an incomptent front office...

This is not the worst choice they could have made ...but WTF.
Jeff Van Gundy and Avery Johnson are still unemployed....

i added my comments in another thread.

we already know how coach collins UNDERachieved with the virtually the same personnel coach jackson had in chicago.

gunner/chucker as a player, and that carries over to his coaching. big on backcourt scoring, not so much emphasis on rebounding or interior defense.

amiable guy, but predictable to a fault. doesn't mix shit up, falls back to poor strategy (like double teams) in critical situations.

maybe chicago chose him because he's familiar and has history. and maybe they chose him because they know the players need a breath of fresh air after the previous dictatorship (so coach johnson wasn't an option). the fans might appreciate the bump in scoring too.

Yeah, I was spazzing over that myself.

My thinking is that he would be better at working with a younger, more up tempo line up than making the old Bulls squad run another offense other than the triangle like he did all those years ago.

I'm still praying for JVG to end up in Denver, but to be honest, he's the breath of fresh air that has been needed on commentary.
