you know the sad part is - HNIC is going to end up hurting only his own board because easily 50% of the content and worthy interaction was being provided by non paying members. Especially the Vets and Superstars.
So when the same 45 paying members get tired of circle jerking one another - they're going to start wondering why the board is dying out and geting so boring.

I agree 110% bruh....I was even on the old board under another alias. I was pretty active then. But I never I thought to the day it would go this route....

They were but at the beginning of last month - he decided to make everyone go PAY ONLY to get access to the main board and back-up board.
I mean that's cool and everything but I'm a member of several different message boards and never have I been forced to pay to get access.
And some of the message boards I'm on, especially my car and trading ones, lets the just say the net income is significantly higher than BGOL's ... these are guys who think nothing of dropping $300 on a bottle of wine to go along with their $6 McDonald's Happy meal.
But the thought of having to pay in order to go on a message board and deliver / share content and bullshit. They'd get offended and bounce. Guaranteed.

There's heeps of free message boards out there with as much, if not more porn, software, movies and music minus the bullshit.

I have to admit, this was true. The last 2-3 years the board really started to slide. I guess it was the quality of the members really.
But yeah, it was familiar so I kept coming back. And I had a good reputation with the members so that also made it easy. Didn't have to go and rebuild a new rep.
I'm also on Syn*citi which is decent. Used to be on 4USBYUS before it became On*Probation, but then that got wack.

I wish HNIC and his squad success with their new business endeavor. But I beleive the strategy to be flawed.
I believe you need contributors as well as members and people to help stir the drink.
It will be very interesting to see if this experiment enriches the main board content or only the pockets of HNIC?
It was a great run but nothing last forever.
I will use the extra time for reading and other shit that was taking a back seat to BGOL.
So how does this board work? Is it a basic free for all like the Main Board? Can we post females, porn, knowlege, music and etc here?

Actually, the board seems to be rolling on...without the BS. Most of the providing members were donators or became BGOL Superstars.
