I know local elections solve local problems, which is why I voted yesterday. The current Sherrif in Raleigh, NC is a white supremacist. A card carrying one. I voted to replace him with Mr. Gerald Baker so he could take over the building named after his father. Because of Sheriff Donnie Harrison, Blacks were given a hard time when trying to recieve firearm permits. Even set things up to where you can be harmed in the process of receiving one.

One thing that's remained constant in this thread is that your responses have literally had nothing to do with my posts that you quoted. I ask you how lever A connects to lever B, and you start going on about water purification.

Its clear that you lack the intelligence to find real solutions for our problems. But you still go full force at trying to make a change in the discussion. That presents a real problem for our people. Your mere prescense is a hinderance to progress. So as I stated earlier, you need to go ahead and do the lords work. I don't say it to be malicious. We wouldn't have a lawsuit trying to end protections for preexisting conditions and the ACA. We wouldn't have the GOP doing like they did in Ohio exempting white areas from work requirements to get food stamps, while black area's even with higher unemployment rates, still had to be subject to them. Who is in power determines how much we get fucked over. If nothing else, letting them win is letting the racist rhetoric of Trump win and influence others when they see there are no consequences for it. Why do you want to help white supremacy spread? You think DeSantis is going to pull back on his racist rhetoric when it basically worked? Why shouldn't other white folks be emboldened to do exactly what he did?

Because most Asian Americans have been filtered through the immigration system.
When people talk about Asians working harder/starting businesses/valuing education etc. they forget that most Asians who don't aren't allowed anywhere near the US.

The other reason is international backing. Many Asians get support from community agencies that are partially funded by their home countries (ie. the Chinese benevolent society or the Khalsa society)
 
I don't try to tell other people what to do. I look at my own circumstances and react accordingly. I can honestly say I've insulated myself from the whims of politics. For black people that should always be the objective. No one puts black interests on the top of their agenda. That's the real problem right there.

Elected officials dont present a plan to you. You present the plan to them. It's called lobbying.

If you don't lobby for what you want, you have failed you civic duty and cannot blame your elected officials for not doing anything for you.
