RIP. I used to watch It takes 2 every time I caught on tv when I was a youngin'. Up tempo, positive message, and pure hip hop. Mickey Factz said about Big Daddy Kane that these were like super heroes growing up.

He dropped probably the most played song in hip hop history, It Takes Two.

I loved this too.

[doe moe]

I remember when this song dropped summer of 1988, I was in the 10th grade.

I know Power 99FM in Philly will do a huge celebration to his life and his musical career tonight.

Rob Base blessed the whole world with hip hops original intention: to set the party off right!
His music legacy is still playing out somewhere in the world right now.
Rest in Peace Rob Base and thank you.

RIP to ROB Base and his DJ EZ Rock

His music is timeless and what always stood out and stuck with me was "I like the Whopper fuck the Big Mac",if I didn't remember nothing else I remembered that part and I rapped it everytime it comes on still to this day.

I always wanted a NIKE sweatsuit like he wore in that video, was it suede?Valour?velvet?....shit more than likely was a dapper dan
