I feel you bro, I tell my son all the time, most of the advice I'm giving you comes from my Dad and my experience in life.Yeah man, when I lost my Dad I was devastated. But he lives within me, sometimes I have to stop myself from sounding exactly like him talking to my kids.
I'm glad I have pics and vids.
I'm sorry you're going through it bro. I'll pray for you and your fam. I know people say that, but I will actually do it. And I hope it results in healing energy being sent your way.
My condolences my Brother. Sounds like you were brought up in a loving household. I felt the same as you when I lost my Pop 9 years ago. Its the great memories I had with him that keeps my head up. The hurt doesn't go away but the memories will help you to move forward. Take your time and the best to you.

Sorry for your lost.
I remember my father bought a new suit, and was extremely excited about wearing it to church. So it’s Sunday morning he ask me to take a picture of him in his new suit. I said let me get my phone right quick, I said you ready. He say hold up son and picks the house phone up and put it to his ear.( like he’s on the phone I’m smh) I snapped the picture he tells me send it to me.
He’s very excited about the picture! I told my brother I’m not even going to tell him…He had the suit tag on by his left wrist when he put the phone up to his ear. Me and the big brother just laughed.
Condolences Wood.. I lost my father 3/18/09 the first couple years not gonna be easy birthday’s and his passing anniversary. We’re left with childhood / early adulthood memories .. and on occasion you’ll mention him( or a funny situation you had with him) out of the blue.. that’s his way of saying I’m always with you.Pops passed away Saturday. This dude was my superhero. I got my sense of humor from him. I'm fucked up right now. I haven't posted in a while, and I don't know when I'll be active again. I lost my best friend. He taught me how to be a man and how to raise men. I wish him a peaceful journey. I'll always remember the jokes he played on me (His "Pete and Repeat joke" pissed me off when I was a child!) and always told me how proud he was of me. This man really pulled himself up by his "bootstraps". I love you, dad. I hope you're at peace now.
