but then covid happened and there is were things got messed up
so what ever she did and she was taking some sort of chemo helped.
No, she died about 15 months after diagnosis. They might have caught it early if she had visited the doctor regularly. Sarcoma is tough even when caught in Stage 1. (50%) Uterine leiomyosarcoma (ULMS) diagnosed at stage 4 is pretty much game over. These types of cancer are so rare that it is difficult to get treatment. Often, doctors misdiagnose them as something else, and that delay can be deadly. I believe July is National Sarcoma Awareness Month. There may be events in your community. Give support if you can and get the word out.

BTW, ULMS is rare, but it occurs in Black women at a slightly higher rate. Ladies, keep an eye on those fibroids.
Of course, I was one of the many dudes that crushed on this beautiful sister back in the day. Her outward beauty and the beauty of her personality didn't diminish one iota over the years.

Paramount has largely laid off their web development team for all of their cable networks, and MTV News has been gone for almost a year. Not trying to stick up for them, but it's well known they are barebones everywhere until they can get the Skydance merger through. And if that doesn't happen, they'll likely file for bankruptcy.
It was the chemo that was helping, which was actually only around 10-15% of what the doctors intended. Everything else she was doing was homeopathy and 'detoxes' What went wrong was she lost her insurance so she couldn't continue the chemo and by the time she got it back it was too late.
She regretted not getting it taken out, she was open about that. That should be enough to see that the other stuff probably didn't do much over the long run.

Thanks for Sharing, this was an amazing interview....I was listening live that day and wanted to hear but had to head into a meeting right before the interview began and always meant to go back and listen.
Too many people are easily misled, have short attention spans, and lack discernment and comprehension. They'll hear a snippet of some shit from some media outlet seeking engagement and will latch on to it without full context. The narrative is that the sista got a diagnosis and said "fuck doctors, i'm just gonna take some Apple cider vinegar and nuts and berries" In actuality she received the diagnosis and became proactive with an integrated approach ( conventional and holistic) she actually did targeted chemotherapy and was doing well until 2020 when everything shut down, her son's father left them and she wasn't able to financially sustain treatment... then it 2023 it spread to other parts of her body. Late detection and no surgery were the main problems.
My wife had almost the same story...the difference is she caught it earlier and was stage 3, Initially they recommended that she may have to do a mastectomy in addition to chemo and radiation but We took an integrated approach and by the time she finished her chemo the only remaining cells were all localized in one cluster so a minor lumpectomy was sufficient to get rid of all remaining malignant tissue. It's been 10 years and she's still cancer free all praises due.
Ananda wasnt some holier than thou alternative wingnut who eschewed all conventional medicine...her sister is a Doctor and She was regretful about not getting her mammogram earlier, not doing surgery earlier and advising others to do some things she did that are beneficial but avoid her mistakes.
I didn't realize that she was also a handywoman that her carpentry certification a few years ago and had NO desires to get back into the media/journalism field due to all the fuckery that's going on....(she starts speaking on this at 35:00)
So sorry that we lost this sista.....Howard University Alum....she was one of those rare ones that was intelligent, beautiful inside and out, and loved our people,....R.I.P
