Ðiên Biên Phú

Dien Bien Phu
The longest, most furious battle of the French Expeditionary Corps in the Far East. 170 days of confrontation. 57 days of hell

After World War II, Communist Viet Minh forces pushed and expelled the French colonists from Vietnam. In 1954, in a major righteous ass whooping, the Viet Minh destroyed the French at Dien Bien Phu. United States Secretary of State John Foster Dulles announced the fall Dien Bien Phu on television and radio on May 8, 1954, sparking future American and European ass whoopings all over the world.

God Grew Tired of Us:
The Story of The Lost Boys of Sudan (2006)

4ti2t5g.jpg

In 1987, Sudan's Muslim government pronounced death to all males in the Christian south: 27,000 boys fled to Ethiopia on foot. In 1991, they were forced to flee to Kenya; 12,000 survived to live in a U.N. camp in Kakuma. Archival footage documents the 1,000 mile flight; we see life in the camp. We follow three young men who repatriate to the U.S. John Bul Dau goes to Syracuse, and by the film's end, becomes a spokesperson for the Lost Boys and Lost Girls of Sudan; Daniel Abol Pach and Panther Bior go to Pittsburgh. All work several jobs, send money back to the camp, search for relatives lost in the civil war, acclimatize to the U.S., seek an education, and miss their homeland. Written by {jhailey@hotmail.com}

Cry Freedom (1987)

bfi-00m-ptc.jpg

In Sir Richard Attenborough's film "Cry Freedom," Steve Biko is an important figure because of his ongoing nonviolent resistance against racism in South Africa, which leads to his eventual martyrdom. Through Biko's treatment as a black man by the white-ruled South African government, Attenborough was able to show the extent of racism and unequal treatment that took place in South Africa during that time.

and for the ladies out there. Denzel's in it.

Marcus Garvey: Look for Me in the Whirlwind

xlytrq.jpg

The story of Marcus Garvey, a controversial African American leader of the early 20th century, is thoughtfully told in this documentary, an installment in the American Experience series on PBS. Garvey, who was born in Jamaica, learned the printer's trade as a teenager, and his ability to express himself in print helped him become an advocate for black rights in his homeland. He formed the Universal Negro Improvement Association, but a financial scandal forced him to flee to New York. Before long he organized the UNIA in America, and his organization began an amazing chapter in American race relations. Garvey, after choosing the unlikely role model of evangelist Billy Sunday, became a great orator and enlisted many thousands of African Americans in his movement. Elderly people recall attending Garvey's rallies and parades with their parents 80 years ago, providing touching and fascinating insights. Newsreel footage shows Garvey, who took to wearing grandiose costumes in public, as well as the fervent crowds who flocked to him. Before long the federal government was seeking to destroy Garvey, and an obscure young Justice Department attorney named J. Edgar Hoover was writing reports denouncing him as a "notorious Negro agitator." A mail fraud charge led to Garvey's imprisonment and eventual exile in England. This intelligent film shows how Garvey, though always a controversial figure, was an important precursor to the American civil rights movement. --Robert J. McNamara

Good look Nu Guy, appreciate you dropping the knowledge

No doubt but actually after listening to a good few of those and checkin out his youtube vids, I feel like he's not getting as focused on the solution as he should be. Rather he focuses on al the sources of the problem and where it all began .... etd. Id rather listen to Asa Hilliard and Amos Wilson. But its good to see that others can see clearly as well.

That Graham Hancock is pretty good tho.

The Spook Who Sat by the Door

A book written by Sam Greenlee in 1969. It was made into a film in 1973. An explosive, award-winning novel in the black literary tradition, "The Spook Who Sat by the Door" is both a satire of the civil rights problems in the United States in the late 1960s and a serious attempt to focus on the issue of black militancy. Dan Freeman, the "spook who sat by the door," is enlisted in the CIA's elitist espionage program as its token black. Upon mastering agency tactics, however, he drops out to train young Chicago blacks as "Freedom Fighters." As a story of one man's reaction to ruling-class hypocrisy, the book is autobiographical and personal. As a tale of a man's reaction to oppression, it is universal.

It also reflects the CIA's odd tradition of giving training to persons and/or groups that later use what they have learned against them.

Herbie Hancock - The Spook Who Sat By The Door OST
Label - UAR
Released - 1973
Style - Jazz, Funk, Breaks, Blaxploitation, Weird, Abstract, Soundtrack, Herbie!

This one is really strange. When I copped this, some of the tracks sounded like they were recorded straight off a TV speaker or something. So I put the tracks through some audio processing to even out the levels, and now it sounds much better. Just an FYI if a couple of the tracks sound different... This soundtrack is just too cool not to clean up and share! Some of Herbie's best (and most obscure) work to date, in my opinion. I'm a freak for anything Herbie or Miles from the '69 to '78 period, so I couldn't pass this up. Hopefully others agree...

(from Dusty Groove):
A legendary soundtrack by the great Herbie Hancock -- super-rare, and super-dope, and super-funky! The film itself is a really righteous tale about a disenchanted Vietnam vet who infiltrates the CIA, learns its tricks, and uses them to start the coming revolution -- and Herbie's score for the film is every bit as bold and powerful as the movie itself! The music's got loads and loads of heavy keyboards -- sometimes distorted and noisy, as on some of Herbie's own work of the time -- sometimes smooth and sweet, with a tasty Fender Rhodes sound -- but always tight, jazzy, and funky! The soundtrack does a good job of including background noises, sound effects, and snippets of dialogue from the film -- and there's also a few mysterious bonus bits, which seem to come from other sources, but which fit in well with the sound of the overall album! The whole thing makes for an ultra-cool listening experience that's served up in a number of dimensions -- and titles include "The Big Rip Off", "Revenge", "At The Lounge", "Training Day", "The Stick Up", and "It Begins".

The Great Debate between Minister Kevin Ali and Djehuty Ma'at-Ra

"Are the Teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad APPLICABLE, VIABLE, and LOGICAL for the Black Community in the U.S.?"

Broadcasted LIVE Sunday, December 7, 2008 at:
Station: www.innerlightradio.com
Moderator of the Debate: Spirit Halima

Djehuty sez:
I took the initiative to make this debate occur, number one, and through a WELL KNOWN and ESTABLISHED medium (Inner Light Radio) that has the ear of all factions and belief systems of Black people, number two, because it is overdue but more importantly is needed to help stimulate thought in the Black community today.

My assertion has always been here that the Nation of Islam espouses outdated, irrational, inapplicable, and unviable philosophies that do not serve the greater good of the Black individual or larger Black community in the new millennium and must wisely be replaced with more rational, VIABLE, and applicable solutions whereby the overall condition of Black people individually and collectively can improve and in all levels, especially in the areas of "Love/Relationships," "Money," "Work," "Health," "Family," and "Personal Development."

I genuinely believe that a combination of the occult sciences (i.e. mental science, astrology, numerology, etc.), pragmatism, common sense, unbiased knowledge, Universal law, and certain ancient African customs offers the solutions for the Black community as we move forward in the new millennium and this fast and ever changing society and world.

I personally believe the Teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad are destructive to the advancement of the Black race and Black people individually in U.S. society as it spews falsehoods, fantastic sounding Black faced myths, misogyny (of Black women), white supremacy clouded under Black supremacy, detrimental health and dietary practices and regimens; hatred and prejudice (especially of White people and Jewish people), helps keep the U.S. economy and capitalism going in their present modes; causes strife, separation, and division amongst Black people and families (i.e. Royal and his daughter, the late Moreen Jenkins); makes mockery of other religious creeds and nonmembers of the Nation of Islam, and a host of other deleterious things seldom discussed in the public.

My purpose in this debate is to show and expose these fatal flaws and defects of the Nation of Islam (and Teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad) and offer viable, practical, common sensible, logical and applicable solutions/alternatives that does absolutely no harm to the individual or other people (races, ethnicities) and therefore benefits all humanity.

My goal is not to make anyone leave the Nation of Islam or prevent anyone from joining it if it is their desire to do so in accordance pursuant to free will. My goal is to cause stimulation of thought, especially in the minds of young people, and to prevent people from unnecessary stagnation, failure, setback, heartache and pain, ostracism, isolation, and mental confusion in life.

About Our Therapeutic Compounds

Our African Bio-Mineral Therapy Program examines and identifies the causes, not merely the symptoms, of disease. Further, we find that the cause of disease is mucus. Disease will manifest in the body where mucus has accumulated. Although the natural vegetation cell food compounds were designed to extract mucus from a given area of the body, it is also necessary for the body to be cleansed as a whole. What makes our compounds unique is the manner in which they work to cleanse and nourish the entire body.

Through this approach, we have been successful in reversing pathologies. Since the herbs used have a natural origin, the compounds are still releasing their cleansing properties 14 days after they are initially taken.

An equally important aspect of our African Bio-Mineral Therapy Program is adhering to the nutritional guidelines provided in the following pages. Our herbal compounds working in conjunction with nutritional changes will give the body the proper environment to achieve optimal health. Also, please note, if a food is not listed in these pages, it is strongly recommended that you do not eat it.

Additionally, we find that drinking a gallon of water daily helps to produce the most beneficial results of our African Bio-Mineral Therapy Program.

godgrewtiredofus.jpg

Sudan has been living armed conflicts for more than half a century now. Since 2003 it is the War in Darfur (called the Darfur Genocide by the United States Government), that killed several hundred thousand person. However, the most deadly war happened in the two previous decades (between 1983 and 2003) in the south of the country. This so called Second Sudanese Civil War was one of the longest lasting and deadliest wars of the later 20th century. Roughly 1.9 million civilians were killed in southern Sudan, and more than 4 million have been forced to flee their homes at one time or another since the beginning of the war. Amongst them a group of some 27.000 children and young men had to flee to Ethiopia and subsequently to Kenya. The 12.000 who survived to this five year journey found safety in a refugee camp in northern Kenya. They became known as the “Lost Boys of Sudan“.

The documentary “God Grew Tired Of Us” tells the story of three of these lost boys, who in 2001 (together with other 3600 children and young men) had the possibility to go to live in the United States and start a new live. An amazing story of adaptation, fight and success.

- damn good video. Should be watched in every black living room. Shows just how jacked up, lame boring, and pathetic the U.S. can be. Also a reminder of what it feels like to actually come to this country and have a mission, rather just to be living for riches. Everthing most of the Lost Boys that got the opportunity to do was ultimately for the benefit of their community back home. The others simply treid to look look and keep up with the U.S. dumbed down cultures.

The Spook Who Sat by the Door

MV5BMTQxMzI0MTk4M15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMzYxNTUyMQ@@._V1._SX285_SY399_.jpg

Cheikh Anta Diop

A fascinating and rare interview with Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop in which he asserts that civilization began in Africa, and that the Black man is the original man. Mr. Diop also refutes bogus claims from other anthropologists [white] concerning the origin and evolution of man. The issue about what did the early Egyptians look like was addressed as well. :D

I hear fluoride can have detrimental effects on the Pineal Gland. Calcifies the Pieal Gland. It litereally fucks up third eye vision. I m gonna have to do a whole lot of yoga to get my vision back probably lol.

function in humans remains to be demonstrated. The two studies of menarcheal age in humans show the possibility of earlier menarche in some individuals exposed to fluoride, but no definitive statement can be made. Recent information on the role of the pineal organ in humans suggests that any agent that affects pineal function could affect human health in a variety of ways, including effects on sexual maturation, calcium metabolism, parathyroid function, postmenopausal osteoporosis, cancer, and psychiatric disease.”
SOURCE: National Research Council. (2006). Fluoride in Drinking Water: A Scientific Review of EPA's Standards. National Academies Press, Washington D.C. p221-22.

"In conclusion, the human pineal gland contains the highest concentration of fluoride in the body. Fluoride is associated with depressed pineal melatonin synthesis by prepubertal gerbils and an accelerated onset of sexual maturation in the female gerbil. The results strengthen the hypothesis that the pineal has a role in the timing of the onset of puberty. Whether or not fluoride interferes with pineal function in humans requires further investigation."

Fluoride & Pineal Gland - Never Studied before 1990s: (back to top)

"It is remarkable that the pineal gland has never been analysed separately for F because it has several features which suggest that it could accumulate F. It has the highest calcium concentration of any normal soft tissue in the body because it calcifies physiologically in the form of hydroxyapatite (HA). It has a high metabolic activity coupled with a very profuse blood supply: two factors favouring the deposition of F in mineralizing tissues. The fact that the pineal is outside the blood-brain barrier suggests that pineal HA could sequester F from the bloodstream if it has the same strong affinity for F as HA in the other mineralizing tissues. The intensity of the toxic effects of most drugs depends upon their concentration at the site of action. The mineralizing tissues (bone and teeth) accumulate high concentrations of F and are the first to show toxic reactions to F. Hence, their reactions to F have been especially well studied. If F accumulates in the pineal gland, then this points to a gap in our knowledge about whether or not F affects pineal physiology. It was the lack of knowledge in this area that prompted my study."

-This joint demonstrates how barbaric whites' love us so much in our enslavement. The white woman was unhappy with her white man, so she took the slave man. The white man was unhappy with his white woman, so he bought a black woman. The good slaves, donned the white mask as best as possible, to his and her own demise. And the blacks with sense fought to get the hell out of there. Or died trying.
