At the end of the day how is this really any different from the paparazzi catching them out there?

Bitch really compared this to raping a woman in a short skirt? Foh.

Real talk

As for the comments it's true, you live in a world where people rummage through your garbage for used tampons and to find out what drugs you are on, so what in your mind makes you think that you won't get your shit stole, I am a doctor, there are certain things I can't dipo, I.e. criminal acts because I won't just get possible jail time I will lose my license, and the inability to apply for another, so that means when I go out I have two drinks maximum if I drive, because I can't afford to get a DUI, the same for celebrities, when you are a celebrity certain things you can't do because you are constantly in the public eye, and people have monetary incentives to find out your intimate life, now what's funny is wheatgrass, made a comment about privacy but I bet she doesn't take nudes, he'll she ain't posted none on here, why because she know good and damn well the long standing consequences, if she did, so you telling me a celebrity doesn't know better than to have your nudes on a cloud server that people have access to.....right, but the real question ought to be, was it hacked or released........

He's 100 right. Once again, females and sensitive people take what you say out of context to support what the wrong did. (happens if you tell abused women not to instigate). This is the same thing as saying, if you don't want a DUI, don't drink. If you don't want a STD, don't have sex. It's still your choice. No one is taking away the freedom of doing so but you should know there are risks. Hackers are supposed to just sit on their hands while you post freely? lol. This is the real world.

Lena Dunham a moron. That short skirt stuff has nothing to do with rape because women in India and Saudi Arabia get raped and they are dressed like students at Hogwarts. I can't feel sympathy for anyone that puts their photos in an online storage bank, and gets angry when they're stolen. Don't want them to be viewed, don't save them. Women are victims to themselves, but want to blame the world. My ex would wear heels to the club, then complain that her feet hurt. She knew this before leaving the house...yet she still wore them, and I'm supposed to feel sympathy? I love women, but their lack of common sense and logic is upsetting.

Nah you should be able to have a private life without being hacked.

It's not comparable to rape and all of that shit, that's disrespectful to women going through that trauma and they need to cut that shit out.

There's only rape.. no metaphorical or symbolic.

double edged sword.

The shit that makes them rich and coveted. The shit that allows them to be envied by millions of women who want to be them and millions of guys that want to sleep with them. The star culture is the exact reason all of this shit happened.

why is it that opinions like these never make it to the masses

it's like everyone is stuck on stupid...

rational people are drowned out by idiocy.....:smh:

Women kill me with this shit, example......I was watching CNN and Brooke Baldwin said she was offended when this happened to her...She said she was getting in an elevator and this guy who she has know for awhile told her she looks like she has been working out and that she is looking really good. That bitch said I was very offended by him for saying something like that....WTF? Bitch really? :smh::smh::smh:

Somebody said it earlier...the chicks gettin positive feedback ain't even trippin. That tells you all you need to know. They got got cuz they were slippin....exposed cuz what they did in the dark came to light...and now some of em mad, some of em more famous than they were two days ago. Either way, some young wannabe star is uploading naked selfies right now hoping they hack her next. And the band played on....

He spoke the truth in 2014, so of course he needs to apologise. (Kidding)

Bottom line is, he's right. If you really don't want your privacy invaded, don't get salty cause you willingly gave Apple, Target, Walmart, or whoever, your trust and information and then it was mishandled.

Best way to avoid an STI is to stay celibate or keep it with strictly one partner right? Same deal with information. If you don't want to run the risk of losing information, don't leave it on your phone, or in this case, a cloud no less.

This is the age of stolen identities. We all should know the risks we run when put ourselves out there.

People have to stop wanting their cake and eating it too.

:yes::yes::yes:

if you cant do the time dont do the crime..

isnt there some kind of password protector you can use to avoid

all this...??

one where pic or video wont open unless you have it.

Nothing else left to say that hasnt already been said.
You can never expect anything online to ever be fully secure.
It is a violation of privacy and they have rights to privacy but there are risk when extending your privacy to fallable things like iCloud. The we all have a responsibility to protect ourselves. We can't ever put our full trust into any system of security. We already know emails can be hacked I.D.'s can be stolen. It may not happen frequently to be worried about it all the time but there is always, ALWAYS that chance it will be.

I don't think he should've apologized at all. Just keep it real and although theft in any form is wrong, people still have to take responsibility for what they put out there. We live in a digital age, hacks are gonna happen this isn't the first time and it won't be the last.

The only people really pissed about it are the attention whores.

I wish I could have been there for that. I would have shown a picture of when I was 60 lbs heavier, and when she says congrats on the weight loss. I'm screaming rape and running around the studio.

As misogynistic as this is going to sound, some women need to shut up and learn their place. I really don't mean that in a bad way...but it's the person that chimes in on a conversation with a completed unrelated, exaggerated, and illogical example. How can someone noticing you working out, toned up, and saying you look good offensive? It's a compliment...unless dude had his dick out doing the helicopter spin.

What is there to reimburse with naked pictures? Do I get other people's nude as a refund.

Someone Should Tell This Douche Nozzle There Are Plenty of People Who Have Said This

I think anyone would agree that your private shit shouldn't be stolen by someone else.... but in terms of common sense, given the insecure nature of anything digital and unencrypted sitting on some disk (outside of your control in this case, not so much on their personal computers), what he says is ok. Like if you put 100K dollars under your mattress and left the bedroom window open... when somebody broke into your house and took the money, and somebody said hey, you shouldn't keep 100K dollars under your mattress... would they get shit for saying that? Naked pics in your drop box with (apparently) weak passwords is just as bad as keeping 100K under your mattress with the bedroom window open.

The burglar should be caught and prosecuted, but the person who put the money there should be made aware of how stupid it is to keep their money there.

If people want to take nudes they should. He has no right to say they shouldn't have taken them in the first place. No one has the right to steal and spread it all across the internet.

This is exactly what I say about sexual harassment at the workplace. If the woman doesn't like the dude making the comment then it's sexual harassment WTF?

In terms of the actual theft, sure... taking something that isn't yours. Outside of that though, there are differences. When Target and the credit companies figured out there was a theft, I'm pretty sure they took steps to forgive false charges, and although it can take some doing, that stuff can be cleaned up. You can't un-see some titties... you can't un-see/un-hear a british chick begging to sniff ass. There's no ass sniff begging repair company. People need to understand that. Take all the naked pics you want, but at least try to take responsibility and be smart about it.

I had someone compare the fappening to the data breach at Target or identity theft.

FAIR
comparison?
