i upgraded from a TP2, granted the HW is enuff to suffice android, but the EVO is a different animal, to call it a souped up TP2 pisses me off, cuz that phone pissed me off daily. lol.

My TP2 touchscreen just all of sudden stopped working two weeks ago. The phone was alright and it was the only choice I had with the SERO plan. I have had the EVO for 1 day now and it makes the TP2 seem like an old nextel phone. I now use it as a paper weight.

yeah, my touch pro 2 is starting to piss me off too. the screen wont stay locked sometimes. as soon as i touch it the shit unlocks. plus if it had the android os it would be allot better.

If you never used android you have to learn the OS. Just like when i get my first windows mobile phone i had to learn how to use it. When i got my iphone i had to learn how to use it. When i got my EVO i had to learn how to use it. It guess it boils down to personal experience. I'm a tech head so i go beyond just the OS i damn near open the fuckers up.

Whatever phone I plunk down cash for whether its $1 or $600, Im getting the most out of the phone as possible cause im a techie.

Like he said its all about the person. If he dont like it or think its too complicated, then he should go back to where he feel comfortable. End of the day your money u spending.

Trust if I aint like android after owning the evo, i would went right back to winmo, cause thats what I been using for the past like 5yrs.

I miss my pre after switching to Android from webos. I think webos has the best OS on the market and that why it hard peolple to switch after using it. The interface far way better then droid and IPhone but shitty hardware and lack of apps kill the phone. Palm should have design OS and let other companys make the hardware.

For me coming from a touch pro 2 it is a totally different experience. First the OS is better to me, and this is my first experience with Android. I love that when I push a button it instantly does what I want it to do. I've been with Winmo since the thick ass Nextel flip phone. I'm a tech head also, and had it for a week and still finding out things. Everything it does i will use and the processor speed is the shit. I played home run derby on the internet against someone I didn't know lol. Little shit like that skipped or froze up on touch pro 2. The bitch is thinner and lighter. I watched Iron man in HD at work I need a camera and camcorder with good pics (I got young kids)

It's just the all purpose shit to me!!

I have the Pre as well and plan on upgrading to the EVO, but y'all are making me nervous since I love WebOS.
